Skelton would beat Valuev.

Scary to think Skelton could be a legitimate world champion.

far less scary than valuev actually being champion. at least he comes to fight.

Yeah i think we should be all proud of skelton. Ok he hasn't been in the most exciting fights but he always gives 100% and is now beginning to reap the rewards, had a world title challenge is now european champion with the potential of a world title fight again if he wins his next fight and he only started pro boxing at the age of 35.

I got big respect for Skelton. Always comes in shape and ready to go.

If Fradley had his heart he'd be a lot further down the road and a lot more respected I feel.

Koasaros has a point. Skelton does not look too bad in the Vidoz fight. The worst I saw of Skelton was the second Sprott fight which was all down to Sprott being lazy.

Vidoz just looked utterely knackered...he was puffing like mad come the 7th anyway, but by that 9th he was just totally done in.

I have a lot of time for Skelton. Maybe I like him more as a person than as a fighter, but he's got that dogged determination, a real throw-back style.

i really like matt, people knock him but he's always learning and trying to improve and he has heart of a warrior. remember the danny williams fight when blood shot out of his head and he yelled like a blood firsty animal. theres a method to his madness, he knows alot of heavyweights aren't conditioned properly so he drags them into a war of attrition.

Matt is a fighter who has gotten better and better as I've watched him. I was impressed with his title shot at Chag, who only just beat him, and he was superb against Vidoz. I dont rate his chances against either of the Kiltschko's or David Haye, but he'd definitely give Sam Peter, Nicolay Valeuv or any of the current top 10 a run for their money.

It's such a shame he didn't get into boxing sooner. He's picked it up really quickly and he's learning from every fight, now he's been around the block a few times he's actually becoming a half-decent fighter.

Yes Vidoz didnt throw one punch in that last round .
Skelton looks as if he can put up more of a fight than some of the crap thats been served up to the Kiltschkos recently. I'd like to see him against Chris Arreola & see if he can handle Matt.

This fight shows how bad the Heavyweight division is at the moment

Skelton is less Gun ho than he used to, I actual preferred the ruff and tumble le style, it was more him, a real gritty spoiler.
