Looks like this fight is happening in April, most likely in Canada. I like Leites but I don't think he is ready or even if he deserves a shot yet. I would have liked to seen him in with another top UFC middleweight before he fights for the title. If Okami beats Lister this weekend he could have been an option. Maia is another guy but would he be willing to take the fight? Personally, I think Leites was willing to take the fight thats why it looks like he has got the title shot. To be fair it is a bit of a tought one for the UFC becasue there isn't that many options at 185, unless they give him a fight at 205. If this fight does happen I still think Leites will put up a decent fight.

I give Leites a better shot then Anderson Silvas last two opponets. Leites has superior BJJ skills IF he can get it down I give him a huge advantage but he has no chance standing.

I think Anderson's BJJ skills are seriously underrated. Everyone says that he'll be beat be the first man to come in with a good chin and ground skills but the man is a BJJ black belt (I think) and he may not have great takedown defence but has anyone ever thought that maybe he doesn't care if he fights on his back. He's got more than enough skill to handle himself on the ground against just about anyone.

Interesting choice, I don't think he has the intangibles Maia or Toquinho does.

Leites has great heart and a good chin, it might help him make the second round

After the Cote fight. Anderson Silvas pissed.. Leites? isnt that the slick BJJ guy who looks always like he got run over by a truck after a fight?

This may turn out to be his last fight.

I like Leites. But I don't think he's ready for Anderson.
