Its a long shot, but I want to purchase an old fight from 2007 between Daniel Dawson and Daniel Geale. I'm a fan of both of them and a friend of mine said it was a great fight. It was shown on Jeff Fenech's fight night I think.

I have contacted Foxtel by phone and email. The person on the phone didnt know anything and told me to email but I'm not getting replies to my emails. Have any of you heard of Foxtel fights being purchased on DVD or dowload? I'm sure there will be other fights I will want to buy in future as well.

*Getting Foxtel is not an option, I can barely afford it now and I'm going back to school next year so I definately wont be able to afford it then.

Even if you got foxtel..they arent going to beam it to your house just cause you asked.

I honestly dont know if you can get but they will have it, and they should be rights give it to you. But seeing as its a Murdoch owned station they will probably at least charge you through the nose for it or say "nah we cant because of copyright".

Good luck..keep us posted.

What I meant was, if I had Foxtel I wouldn't miss a fight night.

Save your efforts trying to contact Foxtel, I'm pretty certain you will get nowhere. Same with FoxSports or Mainevent. Chances are whatever stupid licensing deal they had would only have allowed the initial showing and maybe a replay or two. I've never heard of them selling individual programs to anyone, and they are most likley not permitted to.
