You favour Monzon? You also 'favoured' him over Sibson. These matchups aren't even fair; Monzon would beat both fighters with relative ease. They'd just be another title defence.

I favor Monzon.......
Going out on a limb there; I also foresee rain falling in Britain somewhere, sometime between now and the end of the year.

Monzon wins EASILY over Benn, a tko in 5 or 6. Another day at the office.

I also said Sibbo may have a chance. It's a shame, because I think he's remembered mostly as just another sample of Hagler kill. Another victim of his own timeframe.
BTW, it seems you favor Monzon over both these guys, too.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and also state that the rumors of Monzon's death are true.
I'm gonna go even farther out on that limb and state that because fellow Argentinian and LH former champ Victor Galindez also died in a car crash, it was a conspiracy.

Well Benn was a good fighter.
I don't think his win would be as comfortable as some are making out.

Good fight for six rounds or so until Nigel runs out of steam. Could be a few knockdowns.

Power wise, Benn ranks alongside Valdez, or just about anyone else for that matter, at the 160 pound mark; the manner in which he battered hard chinned men like Doug DeWitt and Iran Barkley cannot be ignored. Nonetheless he lacked the discipline, pacing, and durability of Rodrigo and would be broken down by Monzon's steady flowing jabs and right crosses before the tenth round.

If Benn hits him he wins, simple as that
Same for Benn at his best over any fighter apart from Hagler and Eubank (and possibly LaMotta and Collins)
So basically all Benn has to do to beat almost any middle that ever existed is land one or two decent punches?.
Garbage.
