Tyson fight was exciting
Holfield I a masterpiece but not great excitment thogh the second fight was great.
Also I dont think the Tua fight was boring at all just Tua didn't want anymore after Lewis hit him with the right early, though Lewis' reflexes had dulled enough to let Tua get a few left hooks in, which added excitment.

The Tua fight wasn't boring, it was a total schooling by Lewis. I think the first holyfield fight was one of his most boring fights. And ofcourse Akinwade was the worst one, but that wasn't his fault.

I think Lewis was a pretty exciting fighter, if you are a boxing fan. For casual fans, who normally like liittle bulls like tyson dempsey etc. he could be boring from time to time. But for me, he was the best champion you could have at that moment. Also liked Holy and Bowe very much, but lewis was just 1 level above them

To be honest, none of his fights were exciting, he was a boring fighter, both his fights with Holyfield were boring..tyson's was good i suppose, he just wasnt an exciting ko artist.

You obviously have not seen the Ruddock fight or Golota or Rahman 2.
If you are calling lewis a fighter who could not knock fighters the FO.

Lewis's best fights were against Mercer and Mason, both (relatively) short, stocky brawlers with iron chins who didn't go into shells once they felt his power.

I've never gotten the hype about Lewis-Klitschko. It was an ugly brawl with a lot of clinching and awkwardness. There was certainly no pictureseque boxing.

Many of Lewis's top fights were so one-sided to be a bit precitable, if still exciting. There were some moments of serious flair in Lewis-McCall II before McCall quit, and Lewis-Bruno was a very good, even fight with a good mix of boxing and brawling.

Some bouts, like the Holyfield bouts, the Tucker fight, the Mavrovic fight and the Tua fight were fairly one-sided with occasional moments of excitement. Tua tagged Lewis with some perfect hooks and it seemed that Lewis should have gone down, were his chin as bad as the haters claim (and still arrogantly claim).

Give Lewis a sound boxer (like Holyfield or Bruno) or a tough brawler with the balls no to go into a shell (like Mason or Mercer) and there could be an exciting fight to look forward to. When Lewis could easily figure out a boxer it was short and sweet, while many "hard" fighters like Tua, Tyson and McCall became as cowards once they felt Lewis's power.

Yeah, the 8th round was one of the exciting moments I was thinking of. The 12th round was also a good one.

Or the Jackson fight...the last 4 rounds of Lewis-Jackson in particular saw him taking big shots from both hands. We're talking Lewis-Briggs levels here.

The closest fight was definately the MERCER fight. He only won that fight by one point on my card, and in his career he never lost a decision. Mercer had him tactically out done, but he lacked the work rate in certain rounds to follow through and just got beaten.

I like Lewis vs. Klitschko and Lewis vs. Grant the most.
