De Leon ruined him...:D
do you even know what the word ruined means?
ruined usually comes from a sustained beating. not a quick ko.

You still get tagged even with the best defence around and he lacks the punch resistance to take a big league shot, if he wins a title, it'll be from a light hitter.

Most fighters cant just take full powershots from their opponents. Most powershots taken are deflected a little bit, or the fighter rolls with the punch, smothers the punch a tad bit and so on...

This thread is like a saturday night live parody of east side boxing forums, a guy who was a teenager a few months ago loses, and he is a shot fighter, lololol
I hate people.
Good, because with that avatar I doubt you'll be interacting with people on this site much longer :yep

ones again another example of 3rd world boxing. They throw these fighters to the wolves before their ready. The Medina fight should have shown he wasnt ready when he got hurt he dint even hold or move, the kid just stood there tryng to trade. The idea to throw this kid against Deleon comes from the same geniuses who decided to throw 21yo Czar Amonsots against another monster puncher in Katsidis. Hopefully those ALA gym guys finally learn their lessons.

yeah, call a twenty year old a "shot" fighter when he hasnt even been tested in the ring. Is this forum a home for douchey O'Reilly lovers? If so, that is a huge bummer. Fuck that scumbag.

I wish Bautista would go back to fighting columbian cab drivers..give or take another 5 and then throw him to the wolves.

first off you ignorant fags, the kid was too raw to evr be send in a heavy puncher like ponce even if he had an unblemished record so don't be too happy of that win. ponce is still a one dimensional fighter and i don't think that his win proves anything. remmember the fight where he faced off against gerry? come when he faces a pinoy who is as technical as gerry and in prime and i'm gonna assure you that he won't win a convincing fight just like that last one

maybe the thread starter need to shut up.
Bautista can either use this as a learning experience or be devastated by the loss---much of this will be determined by his management and training team--if he is confident in himself he will overcome this setback---Look at Lusito Espinosa and how he lost to Alejandro Gonzalez --when he took the rematch with the kid--i thought he was crazy and would get bombed out--but he kayo'd Gonzalez and had a great run of successful fights afterwards----my favorite fighters are fom Thailand --so naturally Filipino fans hate on them--but i hope Boom Boom has success not for the fans who write a bunch of bullshit about him--but for himself cause boxing ina poor country can be a awy out of poverty for some..... didn't bautista get knocked down in his last fight or the one before that ? so could he just have a faulty/weak chin ?

Go Pongskalek:DSure he did, the road to success have some few bumps along the way.He will bounce back for sure. This loss will be his learning experience. Never slug out with a huge puncher if you don't have the chin to back it up. :hey
