What did Laszlo die from?
All SI said was he was battling a long illness.

He had Parkinson disease like so many boxers.

There's a nice story about Papp (I don't know if it's true or not) that's worth telling.
An "overqualified" journalist made an interview with him after Papp retired and asked the stupid question:
"What was your genious strategy that earned you so many victories?"
Papp stared at him for a moment then answered:
"You know, I saw the guy coming at me. I punched him in the face. If he stood up, I punched him again."
