I would like that the nuthuggers of Anderson Silva would see these fighters, to stop bragging him as an elite muay thai fighter.

Dont get me wrong, Anderson Silva is a much much much better martial artist than them, but he aint on their level of Muay Thai.

Anderson Silver is a valid Muay Thai fighter, he is just a very powerful fighter, he would be great at any style but that is not his purpose, he just wants to smash people and he does this very well regardless of the method or style, winning is not a style after all.

they could compete in MMA if they learned some ground game.

Those guys could definitely compete. Some of the guys on that video...As for a standup MMA match I damn sure wouldn't bet against! Some of the shots they took, and didn't even seem to phase em are crazy. Elbows, knees, kicks, punches...True warriors.
IF anyone like that did compete in UFC they damn sure better take that guy down ASAP.

Do you know if A. Silva as ever held a World title at Muay Thai either the WBC belt or the WMC.

I'm not sure if he has held a title but I'm pretty sure ages ago I read somewhere that he was undefeated.

He didn't. With a few months training he'd be world class though, without a doubt.

Hit and miss, for every CroCop there are 20 Leko's.

No, thats not MT, but the principle applies.

good muay thai skills are going to help in MMA, i can't imagine a pro MMA foghter oing less than 2 hours of Muay thai a week.

When Gilbert Yvel ko'd Gary Goodridge it said everything about Muay Thai, i would take a fight with Lesner because i could always tap out, the danger of fighting a guy like yvel is the fight could be over in 2 seconds and you could suffer injuries that would end your carrer.

Muay Thai is already a big part of MMA. But if a fighter went in mma with just muay thai he wouldn't do really good.

Has been a a World Karate Champion
He was a Kickboxing Champion
He was a Shoot Boxing Champ
and now a Muay Thai Champ.

Im sure if he went and did some Jiu JItsu he would be great in UFC.

A real striker that could KO anyone at anytime.

His elbows are deadly.

If you look him up on Wikipedia he has about 15 stoppages by Elbow.

I have to admit if it wasnt for me following Muay Thai so much before UFC/MMA got big i wouldnt be interested.

I prefer strikers more in the UFC. Sick of the wrestling a bit.

@Boppazoo:
I appreciate the Carnage very much, but i dont think that he could do well in MMA.. Hu first needs to learn groundtechniques otherwise all his opponents will try to floor him...
BTW: Carnage should fight Tyrone Spong for Cruiserweightunification.. This would be a hell of a fight..
I would predict a third round ko victory for Spong..

Carnage should stay in muay Thai, he is so great to watch and mma would take so long to prepare for. I love mma, but the world needs pure muay Thai fighters, pure boxers, pure wreatlers, pure judoka.
