Jennings is a Sports Network fighter.
There is something in the Setanta deal with Arum that gives an exemption to UK based fighters who can sell their own TV right here...... I think - it has come up on ESB before.
Don't be surprised to see this on PPV.

Or it might not be shown live on sky but on a FNF on skysports like a week later.

Can't see this being PPV, unless they hang a Khan fight onto the start of it.

They were talking about putting Khan back out in Feb, don't forget Macca, Cook and Mitchell will all be due fights by then.....
There is also Pavlik to consider.........

Pavlik wasn't near PPV in this country even when he was the undefeated next big thing.

Pavlik vs Rubio is still a good fight to show, but it seems strange they listed Cotto vs Jennings as well before removing it (Setanta I mean).
It gets on my tits when Setanta list future fights only to remove them...confirming them before listing them would seem the best policy.
same as pavlik vs rubio, 21 feb
which is a sat nite, gurenteed they will put this on ppv with Khan.:?

Khan, Cook, Macca and the olympians are due to be fighting on Feb 28. With Cotto v Jennings a week prior I'm sure ol' fish eyes will bring his guys forward a week.
It'll be a ppv bill:
Cotto v Jennings
Cook v Rocky Martinez
Maccarinelli v Banks
Khan v TBA (I'll eat my holiest boxers if it's Prescott)
Degale v TBA
Gavin v TBA
Saunders v TBA

Alex Arthur would be out of his Edinburgh mind if he fought Khan. It would be a very nice payday for him and his family but he has an awful lot to lose. If Khan defeated him Arthur would be pretty much finished at trying to regain his world level status. If he beat Khan what does that do for him on the world scene, nothing whatsoever.
As for who Khan will fight in Feb I've given up trying to predict that one.

At this stage of Arthurs career he's gonna have to take some risks anyway. I like Arthur to hand Khan his second stoppage defeat.
Khan on ppv is a joke the guy fights bums and looks good why pay £15 on it. I preferred khan on itv than this. ****** doesnt make a competetive matches just baby feeds shit fighters until they get beat.
Going to be interesting to see how this resolves itself. ****** and Arum are fairly good buddies so it's fair to say he knows the ins and outs of Setanta's deal with Arum. In fact, in one of ******'s previous columns he stated how he thought it would be difficult to see how Hatton will overcome Setanta's rights if he fights Pac. Ricky and Ray foresee any remaining fights he has being broadcast only on Sky Box Office so they can wallow in their percentage creamed off each £14.95 subscription on the UK side. So how the Cotto-Jennings issue resolves itself may have implications for any Hatton-Pac fight, which isn't as close to being finalised as has been reported

The fact that Khan has been knocked out in 50% of his PPV fights so far would seem to thoroughly disprove your theory...:good
