Quality stuff ... cheers Paddy. Fagan suffered a broken leg in the Khan fight. Very unfortunate. He looks excellent on these videos.

no bother Jeff, they were his best rounds which should have been enough to take the fight...... i also believe spaddy was deducted a point.

i also posted another fight he had in The garden against Brian Carden

Yes he broke it in the first fall- he's really gutted and felt ashamed he didn't get into the fight. Good kid though- feel sorry for him but he's got nothing to be ashamed of.

Jeff, with the greatest respect, before I would accept a broken leg as an excuse for losing a fight, or at the very least for not putting in a performance I would certainly want to see the x-rays. He said post fight that it was his ankle, now its his leg...next week it will be a multiple spine fracture. The truth of the matter is that he was massively outclassed from the opening bell, before any "break" occurred.

Its broken. He's out for 12 months. Why would he lie? Its not going to change the result or peoples perception of it?

fagan went into that fight with the wrong gameplan it seemed. was looking to try and bomb khan out and just left himself wide open. could have been a decent fight had he tried to box and draw khan into the later rounds.

I heard it was his ankle too but either way it was unfortunate due to it being Oisin's biggest fight ever.

That said he was never going to do much in that fight anyway, was outclassed from the word go and was put on the canvas whilst both his legs weren't broken

No shame in that though, Khan is a classy boxer when he's not in danger of being KO'd

well...you can't take that performance against a former world champ away from fagan...

and dont forget jeff above went 7 rounds with fagan..

i think, apart from fagans injury, that the fagan v khan fight shows how very very good khan is - apart from his punch resistance....khan is extremely skillful.

i have to say even though i was there to see fagan knock out.... It was something special when khan was letting his fists go (i had just watched 10 rounds of audley not too long before)

your right there jeff (post edited), i definately didnt mean it. i was basically trying to get across the point that even though i was there to see Oisin and definately wanted him to win i couldnt help but admire khans handspeed and skill in the ring it was amazing to see his handspeed in person.
