The guy he was in with had done a fair bit of boxing as a teenager. Fair play to Cracknell for raising a bit of cash for charity. :good

That was pretty disgusting! What the fuck was Cracknell doing in a boxing ring?
As Zico said his opponent had amatuer experience and imo made that fight very dangerous. Shouldn't have been allowed to happen.

Some Public Schools used to have very good boxing teams before all schools banned boxing in the 70s

Absolutely! He could've been seriously hurt.
Also I thought the difference in skill levels made the fight particularly dangerous.
I think you hit the nail on the head about not 'respecting' the sport.
