Stans too big for Henry.Thats why Hammering Hank lost to Zivic.Fritzie wasn't near as talented or energetic as Armstrong, but was too big and strong and wore down Armstrong in close.Fritzie was a big puncher (81 career knockouts), but Ketchell was even bigger , stronger, and a more lethal hitter.Ketchell knocked down Jack Johnson, so imagine what that same punch would do to a 5'3" Armstrong.

ketchel is way too big. armstrong was a welterweight who often came in way under the limit. he was at best a jr. welter.
stylwise, this would also be a bad idea, with armstrong being right there to be hit.
and even if armstrong outhit ketchel 5 to 1, he´d still get flattened IMO.

Ketchel would brutally knock him out in one or two rounds. Ketchel is the hardest punchingh middleweight of all-time. No way any lightweight, even Armstrong is standing up to that kind of power. This is a mismatch at it's finest.
Stanley Ketchel KO 2 Henry Armstrong:good
