Mark Coleman is on this card vs Shogun. The fight is apparently going to be at 205?! Looks like Colemans definitely off the juice. And to think the UFC wanted to pit this guy against Lesnar! I mean is Coleman having a laugh? The guy is 44 and wants to come down to a weight his never fought at in MMA? Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Pretty sure he has dropped to 205 before.

UFC 99???!?! Il take that as a typo dude. Coleman has been in PRIDE since he left the UFC. He hasn't fought since PRIDE33/34 i think.

Hasn't fought since October 2006, so that'll be a 27 month lay-off. 2 and a bit years.

I guess I will have to look at some of his pride fights then. When this was announced my gut reaction was wow I haven't seen this guy in forever, why are they putting on this fight!?! I am trying to see if my gut was right and this is a dumb fight to put on or if he has a chance. On that note does anyone have some highlights or anything that can legally be posted here for me to get an understanding of his level of fighting when he last fought?

He's fucked anyway, providing Shogun is back to form. I'm thinking vicious first round beatdown form the clinch. No idea why he has decided to fight more.

Im just completely baffled as to why Coleman has come down to 205 to make the fight?

Do you guys give credits to Coleman on his win vs Shogun, in the first fight? No. I watched the preview video on the UFC site and Coleman said if it ends the same way he will be extremely excited as he just wants a win and doesn't care how he gets it . It going to be good to see Shogun back and hopefully we will see the best of him.

Im exicted to see how Coleman looks at the weigh ins.

Im not. He`ll look like a sack of shit. He will loose alot of conditioning unless he`s been off the hormones for some time and already accustomed to the weight. He will also loose musculature in the process which isnt practical espcially at his age.

Well him telling Tito he will knock his hair black, calling him a monkey and im going to bust your little head agian where bad. I remember an interview the 2 did for Maxium magazine before the 2nd bout and Tito said ive gained a couple steps while Kens lost a couple steps and Ken responded by saying well that should make us even then. Shit remember in the video package for that fight Ken said I know Titos trying to submitt me because ive never been submitted then before the Berry fight hes likes coming to KO me cause ive never been KOed although he had been KOed cold in his 4 previous fights. Kens a funny guy if nothing else.

season 3 of the Ultimate Fighter is priceless. But I admit that I cant stand Ken, he is an egomaniac, who is crazy about respect that people are giving to him.
I like Tito much more, Ken just disgust me

Ken does deserve some respect for his accomplishments but noboddy wants to give to a guy who walks around with chest out demanding it and trying to dimish other people. Tito defeated him badly in 2002 and Ken had to make every excuse like I was weight drained,I had a blown out ACL,I needed to start training with different people,My shoulder hurt or just him simply saying Tito never hurt me with anything but atleast I dropped him. No bro you got your ass kicked admitt it and move on. As a coach it was very sad to watch him never wanting to train his guys he wouldnt show up to pick them up sometimes so you got guys training out in the backyard or he does take them and he tries to force everyone watch him beat Kimo at UFC 48. Say what you will about Tito but he was such a great coach he had guys joining his Big Bear Camp from his team.

Yup and the thing is if Ken didnt have that gigantic ego of his he would be a great teach and trainer. You figure this guy has seen everything and probablly was forgot more then most will ever know but theres something mentally wrong with that man. I always thought that little boot camp he put the Lions Den guys through and those things when he was evaulating fighters on TUF 3 where stupid it doesnt tell you shit about the fighters abilities. Also he brang in that big weight lifter guy Dan Freeman I think his name was I mean come on now you got Tito bringing in Dean Lister for a Jiu-Jitsu coach and I know you cant really top that but Ken is a complete and total jackass watching him get KOed every fight is hilliarious.

This pionner of that sport, is just putting a shame on his legend.
Like Holyfield, but at least Holy, dont loose by KO each fucking time

A healthy Coleman can take anyone down and control them unless they are Nog and Fedor.
