Ok MDWC and McGrain, here is the mail a fine upstanding gentleman called Steve sent me. Dinner might even have close to immediate access
Hi John
There are a few sources for this. A couple that spring to mind are the U.K's 'Boxing News' publication and Dr. Jan Skotnicki's book 'History Of The Heavyweight Title'. I've just looked at the book again and it confirms the data that I posted on the BoxRec website.
Hope that helps :-)

Thanks JT.
I think i am just going to track that book down so I can read for myself.
But now I have to go to a proper real life meeting

No worries Mac, i was hoping one of you two will so we can put it to bed with all of us happy and all knowing. It will solve a long held itch for dinner.

Cheers mate. However, I have every Boxing News issue from 1974 (52 of 'em) and it doesn't mention the scores once. But your source seems a good one. Which begs my other question: Just who were those judges? :good
