Belgium based Ukranian Oleg Platov(27-2) is scheduled to take on his stable mate, the German based Turk Cengiz Coc(24-3), on the undercard of Huck vs Safonov on january the 24th.
Good matchmaking IMO! Coc scored one of his biggest victory in last fight. He beat his young and promising stable mate Rene Dettweiler in a close and entertaining fight.
Coc is a decent heavy who can hold his own against the likes of Sprott,Vidoz,Timo Hoffman,Danny Williams,Skeleton,or Sinan Samil Sam.
However,he is out of his shoes against a true top fighter.Whats more he doesnt have the necessary firepower to upset a favoured opponent.
Platov plays more or less in Coc's league, but unlike his stable mate he has enough pop in his fists to upset the apple cart and win against all odds against a superior fighter.
Coc vs Platov can really go either way,but my gut feeling somehow tells me that Platov will play it rough making Coc quit in the later rounds.
