Vic will crush Arce who is out of date.

Arce went life and death with Thai Devid Lookmahanak. The same guy was ko'd in 7 rds by Sth African Evans Mbabma late last year.

I spoke to Elias Nasser today. He told me that Vic has already sparred 90 rounds with Lenny Zappavigna,Lovemore Ndou,Billy Dib,Dean Livanos and Hussy Hussein. Apparently he is looking great and very hungry, he told me Vic is training harder than before and that each time he fights now the team focuses as they are the underdogs and nothing is left to chance.
I THINK THE "EL TRAVESIO" IS IN BIG TROUBLE.

Great stuff, thats how a press release should be, the only thing I could nitpick on would be a lack of a few more quotes.

Years ago in Kal I was going to promote a few PPVs in pubs and this was almost the exactly the same format I envisioned. Good work.

i think Vic will want to punish Arce over the distance, and Arce has a good chin.

i like the underdog attitude, good thinking, keeping him hungry.

i saw Vic weigh in at 123 for 30 days out..

anyone know what weight Vic walks around at when not cutting weight?

He weighs about 60kgs when not fighting. The team has everything he needs to make weight sensibly, diet and docs overseeing he is physically right going into a fight. Its a different Vic to the Vic of five fights ago. It looks like he tries to break his opponent before going in for the kill. Whatever the hell their doing , keep doing it boys because he has improved greatly from the Vic of old.
i was told they have been working on his right hand big time. When Elias told me before the Mijares fight look for 20% improvement from the Kirilov bout , I thought he was smokin something !!! Know he has told me that with Vic working on his right , look for another 10% improvement on the Mijares fight. I cant argue with the bloke because each time he has been right.
I wish I could meet Vic this Tuesday because when you mention Arce to his manager he fired up big time, you could only imagine what Vic's thinking. They have left nothing to chance for Arce.

Token momento's from yesterdays press conference. The boys from TEAM DARCHINYAN are staunch boys, no wonder why Vic is going so well, the atmospere in the gym was sensational yesterday. They all seem to be one big happy family, a lotta good mates , sticking together it was great to see. Peter from the Tszyu Crew even got the shirt off Vic's back !!!! Great effort boys.
For all those that think Vic is not a proud Australian, both flags adore his gym, he is as Aussie as any other boxer we have in this country!!!

IBF,WBC,WBA super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan has told Fightnews from Las Vegas where he is having his final training sessions before his title bout and states that he is upset with Jorge “Travieso” Arce for not respecting fellow Mexican champions and promises to finish his career of his opponent on February 7 when they clash. “Jorge Arce doesn’t respect boxing or the hundreds of Mexican boxers that have been warriors in the ring,” Darchinyan said. “To think he has to use champions like, Israel Vasquez, Erik Morales, Fernando Montiel, Christian Mijares and Victor Burgos as his tools for making a name for himself because his results in the ring have been average, makes him a disgrace to Mexican boxing.”

“How can you compare yourself to these Mexican warriors? Running your mouth about me is one thing, running your mouth about your own countrymen, that have been some of boxings best champions and that have achieved so much more than you is another, it shows what sort of person you are that this is the only way you know how, to make your name bigger.

“The fact he has dragged Victor Burgos into his foolish talk, shows what a weak person he is. After the Burgos fight, we didn’t celebrate the victory, myself and my trainer J Fares, were in constant contact with Gary Shaw, checking on his progress day to day.

“Arce is one stupid person. Does he think me and my team doesn’t know what game he is playing? You are only good at playing mind games and talking yourself up.

"Wait until the fight happens, I will not only knock you out, but I will also grant your wish about being carried out of ring.
