Me and the fellas are of snowboarding at the end of the month and apart from cardio work and the usual squats, leg press, calf raises etc if there was anything else that would be usefull. Last year my abs were really aching so I've been doing alot of sit ups which I think will help. So anything else I can do which could help?
Core work would be useful IMO.

what kinda excersises are good for your core?
I went snowboarding yesterday Glen. Going again tomorrow. :happy :happy :happy
You should probably do a lot of supermans, I imagine you'll be spending a lot of time on your butt. Kidding, kidding. Although, those would be good for your lower back.
Core exercises (google it) is anything that strengthens your lowers back and your abs.

stretch your lower body a lot, do some oblique work and a lot of ab work in general. as far as legs go you'll want endurance more than strength because you won't start getting sloppy til you're tired and then you'll start falling and having a bad day. on the note of falling, practice rolling and break falling so you don't break anything if you eat shit.

Agreed. Core (hip flexors, obliques, abs and lower back) exercise combined with loads of dynamic stretching (rotation and such) of that same area. Maintaining balance is most important, and for that you need a flexible core since your feet are fixed to the board.
