As reported on the news site about fights, King is looking to bring WBA/WBO champ Juan Diaz vs IBF champ Julio Diaz to Chicago. Apparently, he wants to Chicago to see the "better" Diaz boxers, and the winner may take on WBC champ David Diaz in a 4-title unification early next year, probably in Chicago.
This should be a great battle though. I'm leaning towards Juan, but what do you guys think?

Exciting one. :yep

Anybody who can backed up Juan has a very big chance of beating him . . . but so far I haven't seen one.

The baby bull wins this one. :good

Juan Diaz gets my vote.
The winner takes on David Diaz, what happened to Casa?

Good point. Maybe David Diaz is willing to get stripped of his WBC title to go for the WBA/IBF/WBO titles.

So it's like borrowing the title from Casa just to give hype to the Morales-Diaz match then returning it again?:blood

Julio will not only beat Juan Diaz but he will hurt him as well. Juan cant hang in there with tough southpaws and when Julio switches he will rock the baby bull. Exicting fight but one where Julio wins easily

I dont care who win's,just as long as the winner fight's nate campbell,i knew julio diaz would duck campbell, especially after seeing what he did to quiles on fnf, teddy atlas was going crazy that night.

Screw Nate! Quiles never even moved in that fight and stood with him and Nate couldnt even stop him ( yes it should have been stopped but it wasnt) he should have dropped him for the count. either juan or julio will destroy Nate campbell. Id rather see katsidis fight the winner and cassa fight david diaz to get his title back

Jaun Diaz will win this fight easily. I never though much of Julio Diaz in fact Nate Campbell would beat him.

Only because the guy has legions of fans on here. If he does win I suspect it will only be by a very close and competitive margin on the scorecards. Julio is a great world class boxer that might actully be able to keep uop with Juan in the volume punching category, and he also hits much harder than Juan.

That, or because Juan's bulldoggish style would cause major problems for anyone who isn't a master counterpuncher, and that's something Julio ain't. The only at 135 with a real shot against Juan is Casamayor, and even that's only a 50/50 proposition since Casa's on the downswing of his career. The one I'm waiting for is Diaz-Hatton at 140 in late '08.

Juan by decision. I expect it to be a pretty damn good fight though.

i think Julio Diaz is being slept on...he has more power than Juan, and imo better overall skills...Juan Diaz is a very tough, come-forward banger, but Julio has more options in the ring...and the beating Castillo gave Julio has made him a better fighter, much like when Margo raped Cintron...i put my money on a Julio SD...

Cool, hes really going for the unification! Juan Diaz is a good young fighter, maybe the next undisputed champion of the world! But i hope hes improving and gest in better shape, for a lightweight he looks verry fat. Poor genetics maybe.

This will be a barn burner of a fight. Julio is a fine boxer that can really crack, he has some chin issues and stamina problems. The chin won't fail him as Juan can't crack that hard, but his stamina will fail him with Juan's workrate. I like Juan Diaz by close UD, unless Julio lands something big early.

Well, they'd be doing it without the IBF title too. The winner of Diaz-Diaz must fight Nate Campbell next or be stripped of the IBF belt.........

I agree, Julio dislikes pressure, but Juan doesn't have the firepower to put him away like Castillo did. People are looking far too much into the Freitas fight.
