Hold your gloves in front of your face and move your head when punches come at you. That should help. :deal

Or wait another week or two.

If it keeps opening, you should just wait until it heals properly and you learn some better defense.

Every time you got hit in the nose? :huh

Why are you getting hit in the nose? If you watch Friday Night Fights you will hear Teddy Atlas carping on about moving your head. Which part of that didn't you (or your trainer) understand?

1. Take more time off from sparring
2. Work on your defense in that time
3. When you do finally spar, ask them to aim at the body and at your head gear and explain that you had your nose fixed. If they are respectful and know what they are doing, it shouldn't be a problem.

Why are you getting hit on the nose so much? I assume they are either extremely good at their game or it is a defense issue on your part. Its hard to tell unless you've analysed some footage or gotten third party feedback why you are sustaining so much 'in your face'. Regardless of your sparring partner's egotistic dimensions -=Pro or Am=- should give you some feedback.

Even if you dropped your guard for a split -even millisecond you may not be aware of it. They can see what you dont see, thats why you get hit. And thats why you should ask. You're there to learn.

Better to take some time off and let it heal. Especially if your gym only contains people much more skilled than you.

By the way, i don't know if you're a troll or not, but never having won a sparring round is pretty sick. How long have you been boxing? Not that i question your ability, but maybe it would be better to seek a gym with more beginners. If i'd lost all my rounds, i probably would've lost motivation.

You would own them in a street fight or mma fight though you get beatdowns every sparring session:huh..

You think having the gloves/headgear off and outside a ring you become such a better fighter??

maybe when you get hit in your nose..you back down [or sumtin] and your opponents sense it and get that boost of confidence that makes them stronger
