I agree to a point lmartin. I think a fighter's carisma and talent are what draw us to them ala tyson and we feel a sort of connection to them more so than an average fighter so we tend to feel for them. Also, I think there is a sense of confusion in everyone how someone who has the forum like Tapia to go straight and be productive and a role model type can continue to throw their life away. I hope his wife has banked some $$$ for her and the kids to get by on their own.

Didn't we just see this guy a couple of months ago on TV crying about something he did that he shouldn't have done? Wasn't it a car wreck or something like that.
