Nice to see - two legends in their respective sports

same hairstyle
Similiar approach to fighting also, study and technique over real physicality advantages. Though, Hopkins beats Wright easily and Gonzaga shreds Couture...

B-Hop needs to quit the spandex....not a good look at any age.

I have huge respect for both guys (who compete in DIFFERENT sports)
Good to see a boxer and a mixed martial artist getting along.
Now if only fans could see that MMA and Boxing are different we could all be happy.

Although i have respect for any man that fights for a living (to a certain extent) Couture looks like a couch potato, beer drinking dad while Hopkins looks like the athlete he is, then again is Couture in training at the moment or has he got a bit in common with Ricky Hatton?

BS. If anything, it was Hopkins who looked like Couture's skinny lil bitch.

Look @ Randy's EAR! Eugrrgh! Wtf is that!
Cauliflower Ear is what the wrestlers call it, he was a greco roman olympic style wrester for a long time.
their ears get scraped up alot and fill with fluid, if they get the fluid drained they can avoid the cauliflower ear but many dont bother.

Or maybe it is a picture of him with a shirt on, at an akward angle?
Here are some more. Doesn't really strike me as someone ballooning up in between fights.

Actually after looking at all of the pics, you can tell that Couture is actually carrying something in his waistband. Which in the first picture makes it look like his stomach is popped out.

one question. what is randy couture doing hanging around with b-hop and oscar anyway?
He showed up with Oscar De La Hoya. However, Couture's Gym is only about one mile down the road from the Wild Card Gym where this took place. It was just an open media workout. Others are speculating that maybe Golden Boy is looking to branch out into MMA.

cauliflower ear is disgusting!!!! Have you seen some of the newer MMA guys? They should just chop off thopse disgusting ears!!!! That guy Kendall from the last seasons Ultimate Fighter has TERRIBLE ears....so does Jens Pulver.
As for preds on their next fights:
hopkins vs wright: CAUTION: BORING FIGHT IN PROGRESS....lol...This has the potential to be the most boring fight ever recorded. Winky's style is slow and boring. Hopkins style is just as bad except hopkins normally doesnt throw more than 2 punches per round until half way thru. I will say that Hopkins was much more pleasing to watch in his demolition of that joke Tarver (wow I hate that guy). This is a tuff one and I may fall asleep but I am gonna take Hopkins just because he has now fought at a higher weight and Winky has not. Its a slim difference, but its that close.
couture vs gonzaga: Couture all the way. I think Gonzaga is a 1-hit wonder and got lucky with that kick on cro-kop. He now has to worry about a guy that can hit him, submit him, or slam him on the ground and pound him. With cro-kop he only had to watch punches and kicks. Couture will take him to the mat whenever he wants to. I predict couture by TKO.
their like battle scars, some chicks actually dig it.
Im hoping Winky can pressure Hops like he did Taylor, but thats probably just wishfull thinking. Hops will not engage.
Its impossible to root against Couture.

I think that you need to read back through the posts again. An apology would be nice once you figure out how silly you sound right now. I was proving the point that he is not fat. Which is why I posted the picture before, and the other picture to show the guy who was trying to say that Couture blows up in between fights was wrong. You should read before you respond.

Not sure if it was espn or at mb but its on video after the delahoya press confrence not sure which one it was ,he said mixed martial arts started in philly bars .. It was the funniest shit he said I know they train hard and even admitted to hating on it a bit ..But he did have some choice words for it sounded similar to Lampley's rant imo

Couture looks in great shape for someone who isn't scheduled to fight. He looks in great shape even if he is scheduled to fight.
