What is the surname of the New British Heavyweight, on the scene.
Larry "Son of shaft"...????
He is massive, with decent speed and power.
And very well spoken.

Fighting a 4 rounder on the Stoke bill tonight according to boxrec.
He is a beast, physically. Late start to his career though...lets hope he can do a Skelton...or maybe not

Looked good in his debut that I saw on Sky, he's since stopped Ingleby in 2 rounds, who's a durable tought fighter, needs to get a move on though cos of age. One of his plus points is he's a beast but he looks pretty athletic/muscular, doesn't look slobbish like msot HW's these days.

he is very stiff. and he needs some head movement but apart form that his jab is pretty snappy for a guy of his wieght and size

Carries his chin way too high, his centre of gravity looks all wrong when he is moving forward and thowing. He needs to tuck his chin in a bit more and not smother his own punches so much. Good to see a heavy in shape, but I think he could do with losing a bit of muscle if possible as the detrimental effect it will have on his mobility and stamina will outweigh the benefits.
He could do with learning some defence. That's okay when you are fighting bums, but against moderate to British title standard he will pay for that. His chin is as high as K2 above local terrain. Tuck it in and keep your hands up son.
He needs to learn footwork and body position. He charges around throwing shots in a sloppy way. If he used his jab a bit more which is actually not bad, and then planted his feet in a controlled way he'd be more balanced, and he'd get more leverage on his shots and he wouldn't be falling in close to his opponent. He should be on the outside with that physique.
Very raw, needs quick improvement to get up to the sagging British level and beyond.

Knocked Rumanian opponent out 2nd round, he took the knee though and had won 3 in 29 before the fight.
Spoke humbly after and seems to understand that technique and stamina are going to have to be worked on and both are going to have to improve a lot to move anywhere near top 10 even at HW.

He is 30 years old, which is pretty young for a big heavyweight.
He will be ok..

He'll be able to improve a lot but his ceiling in terms of ability before age starts catching up with him might be too low for him to go very far.

anyone see him last night?
only 8 amatuer fights so he was def a bodybuilder before a boxer (that is obvious)
and anyone see his interview afterwards!!!!!! guy was completly puffed out after abotu 5 mins of action. awful stamina.
he looks like he wants to hit guys but doesnt really know how to punch effectivly he know a hook he knows a jab and a cross. but cant mix them up. almost looks like bob sapp when he is hooking they are wide and not incredibly effective.
throwing a triple right hook combination is terrible faux pas
it's his weight not even his power that is keeping him unbeaten.
just hope he can get more conditioned and solidify his boxing skills
