Guys I was in Nigeria and watched it live on satellite TV. As per my previous posts on this topic cannot say I was surprised at all. Skill wise there is no comparison and even Margarito and his team thought they could overpower Mosley then dream on. I have never seen anything in Mosley that tells me he can be knocked out. If Vernon Forrest could not stop him in their 1st fight what chance did the limited brawler Margarito who people were thinking was superman have just because he beat Cotto in a fight he should never have won. Definately, Shane legacy took a steep incline last night... Think he's got too many L's and controversial W's to be a true ATG but he is a pretty tremendous second tier guy. If he were to beat Cotto in a rematch, which he could do I think he would be held in higher esteem. A fight with Pacman too would be very interesting.

It does not make sense that Margarito has been punching hard. He can't punch correctly. His punch technique is about as good as Calzaghe's except they have no speed. His punches had absolutely no effect on Mosley last night as they have been.

I think we need to hold off judgement on the hand wraps until we hear something definitive. Unfortunatley, if its true, it casts a big shadow over the most successful part of Margo's career and basically shoots his credibility to pieces.

I mean lets say it is true. Some people will assume he did this every fight and got away with it up until now. I think thats bullshit myself because there is no way you would get away with it every fight. But you still wouldn't know which fights he had used it and which fights he hadn't.

Anyway, if it was something that hardens into plaster paris then he needs a lifetime ban. You could easily enough kill someone with that kind of carry on. Especially if you are of the quality of Margo. (his actual quality may be overestimated if he has been cheating for years but he would have been handy enough either way)

For me the whole thing puts a big fucking downer on a spectacular fight. And while I know I should be basking in Mosleys spectacular and brilliant display the cynical part of me wonders if a 37 year old who hasn't looked as good in almost 8 years (or maybe ever) could really have been that sharp on his own. Especially when said 37 year old has admitted to taking EPO before (that 'I took it but I didn't know it was a banned substance' bollocks doesn't fly with me. he was a grown man and he's nobodies fool so I don't believe that for a second).

Still, I never saw this coming and I'm very disappointed...had alot of respect for Margarito and I genuinely thought that it might be his time now....he's never been the most skilled or refined (to say the least) but I felt with that relentless style up against a seemingly aging Shane Mosley he'd win by wearing SSM down....a war of attrition.

Now it seems that one of his great weapons was taken away, and he seemed largely impotent without it. Not to take away from a great performance by Shane, he rolled back the years and looked fantastic...but this casts alot of doubt over AM's whole career...

I couldnt believe how Mosley rolled back the years and put in a peformance like that after looking fairly average in his last few fights .. I thought we'd see a guy be bullied and dominated by Margarito, fair doos to Shane, that was brilliant, sheer class
