Full details of HAYEMAKER 6: ‘Mersey Beatdown’ will be announced at a Hayemaker Boxing press conference to be held on Tuesday, January 27 at the Jury’s Inn Hotel, Liverpool.
The press conference will commence from 11.30 PM and is open to both members of the press and public.
Already confirmed for the HAYEMAKER 6 show on March 28 at the Echo Arena, Liverpool is the intriguing British light-middleweight title showdown between flamboyant switch-hitters Ryan Rhodes and Anthony Small.
Also accompanying that hard-to-call British title match is a flurry of other Liverpool talent, including ex-British champion Tony Dodson, leading contender Derry Mathews and hot Merseyside prospects John Watson and Joe McNally.
The remainder of the HAYEMAKER 6 show will be detailed during Tuesday’s press conference, including news of a further two added championship fights, one British, one English and both ultra competitive contests.
“This show on March 28 is just the start of the association between Hayemaker Boxing and the wonderful city of Liverpool,” explains Hayemaker promoter Adam Booth.
“We have a series of big announcements coming up – starting with Tuesday’s press conference – and I’m sure the thriving link between Hayemaker and Liverpool can go some way to reinvigorating the sport in Liverpool.”
Full details:
Date: Tuesday, January 27
Time: 11:30 for 12 PM start.
Venue: Jury’s Inn Hotel (30 feet from the entrance to the Echo Arena)
Open to: Press and public
Any idea what the added title fights are? I guess Dodson and Magee will be one of em.
I've heard there's supposed to be a surprise or two in store on Tues :think
