Not sure beating Bautista shows you can hang with Pacquiao. Pacman would have made Bautista look like he went through a blender. Too many people in Ponce's actual weight division that he could fight, most notably a rematch with Caballero.

In reality he will enjoy his status a little bit more.

super bantam and superfeather are two loaded divisions right now. there is absolutely no point in matching up these two as they have more than enough great matches at their weight division.

anyway, both de leon and pac have 1 punch ko power at 122. but pac as we all know has improved a lot. de leon relies solely on his power as we have seen in the penalosa fight. when his power fails, he turn to this completely different albeit ineffective quantity puncher. in any case, pac's chin is way better than boomboom's or any of the fighters de leon has fought. but we don't know if de leon's chin will hold up. anyway, i think pac is superior and that de leon is very far from even thinking of a match with pac.

posters like stinky who think that de leon should face pac because he just ktfo'd another filipino obviously don't think that much

ok agreed, but still..beating Marquez and vazquez will be a difficult feat to do for ponce. and while ponce is still peaking and i dont think he'll be leaving his division soon...it'll be years before he reaches Pacs division, and that is if Pac doesnt move up too..

In reality I said Ponce need to beat a few guys like Marquez
or Vasquez to prove what he can really do.

If he not, he will never have chances against PAC.

at that class who are Mexicans too. If you look a little bit

- Filipino prospects to claim that Mexicans are in the defense and to
- De Leon to claim he may compete with PAC right now.

which won't happen. chi relinquished his title when he heard that up and coming jorge linares was mandatory defense. koreans don't accept this though as they said chi left because he wanted to pursue a career in mma and/or he was getting screwed over by his promoter or manager
