Here at ESB you guys practically ridden Taylor of any chance of winning against Pavlik, just because you all hate Taylor for getting a gift decision or 2 from questionable judges and cant imagine boxing without a Pavlik winning.

But what you all gonna do when you hear these words after the fight

"....and still middleweight champion of the world!"

We'll probably shake our collective heads in disbelief again.

If Taylor wins convincingly, I would have no problem with that. I am picking Pavlik to win by KO, but despite who I root for and predict to win, I always want the "best man" to have their hand raised at the end.

Somehow say that he got a gift decision even if the fight ends with Taylor knocking out Pavlik:yep

I don't count out Taylor like a lot of people do, but I think he should be the underdog. Taylor needs to learn how to stick to a gameplan, and listen to his trainer. If he does that, he can win.

Like I said in the previous Taylor-Pavlik thread, Taylor is going to shine and regain his reputation via UD. He'll look exactly like the Taylor of old who used to beat up every middleweight contender.

Taylor is the Souleymane M'Baye at Middleweight! or is he the Sven Ottke of the USA? Maybe both. I cannot find a champion I am less impressed with.

This champion is poor, a decent middleweight would KHTFO. I'm impressed with Pavlik after the Miranda bout.
It's likely Pavlik (will KO him) and Arthur Abraham would beat him.

:patsch He's there for the taking. It's almost as if he doesn't want to be in the ring.

As i've said before: I like both fighters, but I pick Pavlik KO 7.

If Taylor fights like he fought Winky, I don't see how Pavlik's going to stand a chance. I havent' seen much of the guy, but it seems that style-wise, he's at a big disadvantage here. But considering how bad Taylor's last few performances were, who knows what'll happen.

Only way that taylor wins is by a gift---AGAIN.

Taylor seems to lack the killer instinct necessary to defeat a fighter as hungry as Pavlik is at the moment. He has been way too flatfooted and stationary of late and has ben lucky his most recent fights have been against equally passive fighters. Pavlik will surely put a great amount of pressure on him so we will quickly see if he has the heart to remain champion. I also predict a Pavlik ko around rd7.

If the final bell rings, Taylor will win.
It doesn't matter how bad you beat up Taylor, he always gets the benifit of "Bad Decsisions".

If Tyalor wins it will be on yet another HBO gift decision - count on it.

However, since he's likely to be out cold on the canvas before the 5th round, I doubt the suits at HBO'll be able to help him out THIS time!!!

If I hear those words, I will check the rule book. since being knocked out by Pavlik by round 7 would mean that Taylor lost.

Ain't that the truth. I hope everyone picks Pavlik so on Sept. 30th I can point at everyone and laugh, 'Told You So!'

I don't think I've been so sure in my life. Taylor's winning this fight.

The Taylor haters seem to have trouble spelling their misguided words. Taylor wins by mid-round stoppage.
