I've been supplementing with it.. Had been adding it to shakes and such but I hate the taste of it when mixed with any sort of shake..

I've been just mixing it with water, and have found it leaves me feeling quite full.. I have the powder.. Taking one tablespoon in a about 36 oz of water acts just like a meal as far as being satiated, very few calories and quite healthy..

I wasnt aware of its appetite suppressing capabilities, but now that you mention it google seems to confirm - interesting. I might try it myself. How's the taste?

In water, it tastes sort of spicy, earthy, mossy?. I'm guessing the capsules will have the same effect, and not be as difficult to consume..

I notice if I drink a tablespoon in a container, the container will have enough residual remains when finished with the initial drink to make another.. The stuff I got is the powder from NOW foods. It really needs to be shaken up a bit in a shaker bottle, then allowed to rest a little since it foams up.

It's a type of algae and tastes as you would expect, kind of like a dried seaweed type taste, not really bad. I usually buy the capsules, crack them open and tip 4/5 of them into about 100ml of water and down it, don't really need worry about the taste then, but to be honest it isn't a bad taste at all.
