Seems like a good idea. I ballooned myself to 180+ back when I injured my arm and used it as an excuse to not do anything but get fat. I went on a diet/exercise frenzy. I was training with my friend who is an MMA fighter for King of the Cage (Was 185lb Champ, vacated and is going to fight for 205lb championship)
Anyway.. eventually was kicking ass all the way down to 160. Holidays came and took a LONG break. I thought I had gone up to 167 at the most, found out Im 170 so no more break time. Time to keep it consistent as long as possible. So my log is starting this morning. Wish me luck. Planning to go down as far as completely getting my 8 pack back. :good

Ive been wanting to, I get to train a little bit, then things dont work out. Getting annoying.
My style is a striker, I dont mind going to the ground though but I prefer to trade.

I nearly died.
Last night before bed did 100 push-ups
100 sit ups/crunches
Walked the dogs for an hour, going to run later today.
Ran for 20 minutes, 337 calories, 2.05 miles
had to slow my speed today, legs were exhausted.
Did only 50 sit ups nad 50 lower ab workouts, too sore.
Ran for 2.7 miles
450 calories
25 minutes.

I dont run outside, it's very cold out.
Im 3500 feet in the air, so I run inside in my moms bedroom with her big TV and a TIVO. So I normally watch the fights I have saved on the TV while running. Sometimes I listen to music.
Right now my goal is to lose weight back down to 155/160. Im 170 currently.
I was doing speedbag, jump rope and heavybag work but during the holidays, my jump rope, broke TWICE. Once in the middle, I was able to burn it and put it together , then it broke off the handle :scaredas:
Then I was doing the speedbag and the whole fucking thing fell apart. :scaredas:
So now Im just trying to start running this week, then Ill do some heavybag work next week with running. Probably shadowbox as well. Mix some HIIT in during the week.
Didnt run yesterday or today. Been too busy and by the time I go to run everyones sleeping, so I cant.
After the Superbowl no more excuses.

Been studying for the ASVAB test. Did a circuit workout tonight.
Circuit training killed me for todays training.
Was practicing for possibly becoming a navy diver and taking their test.
It requires to swim 500 yards in 14 minutes or less using breast or side stroke.
10 Minute Rest (standing)
Then 42 push ups no stopping in 2 minutes
2 Minute Rest (standing)
50 Sit Ups in 2 Minutes
2 Minute Rest (standing)
6 straight pull ups
10 minute rest standing
Then run 1 1/2 miles in 12:45 or less.
I use to run 6 minute miles not to long ago but running on a treadmill fucks with my mind. I feel like I my distance should be a lot further than it really says I am.
To start off..
I dont have a pool nor am I near one. So I decided to run the equivalent of calories it takes to swim 500 yards.
So I just did a light pace to 125 calories then performed the rest of the test.
Did everything in between here.
I was pretty exhausted by the time it came to run the 1.5 miles.
I did .7 before I was just dead. Mind you, not running since my last entry and then the entry before that. And do the circuit routine last night. And being 3500 feet up..
Im hoping to improve greatly on this.
Warmed up on treadmill for 7 minutes.
Did HIIT sprint for 30 jog for 30 etc.
Did it 7 times, roughly 8 minutes with the speed changer on a treadmill.
Then cool downed for 5 minute.s

Ive been studying and running a bit. Ran three days straight prior to MEPS.
Took the ASVAB and passed phyiscal/medical.
Im not allowed to go over 175. ( I weighed 169 but I had to shit so bad I'd say I was at least 167 without the shit. Lol)

It's fucking hard when I'm consistently working out at 3500 feet altitude.
I run out of breathe a lot faster up here.
Ran yesterday, and ran today, also hit the bag as well today.
Spent majority of it searching for classes.

Ran on the 19th and 20th, took the day off today. Legs are killing me and need a rest.
Did not run saturday sunday or monday.
Ran yesterday and today.
Im struggling to keep a steady pace. Im trying to burn calories but I hate running on 6 speed for 20 minutes and only see Ive burned maybe at most 300 calories.
I tend to recently run on 8 - 9 speed for 3-5 minutes. Then rest till I can breathe then run again on 8-9 speed. I do this for about an hour which results in about 20-30 minutes of running on the treadmill. Depending how I am feeling that day.
Is this bad? I live at an altitude of 3500 feet. So I run out of gas almost quickly running at 8 speed but 6 speed Im steady but hate that Im not pushing myself harder. Obviously Ive done running at 7 speed steady but it feels the same as like Im not getting anything done. I also am starting to run twice a day, 300 calories per run, mixing in hitting the bag to burn hopefully around 800+ calories a day.
100 Sit ups last night, 21 minute straight run, almost.
Will do some jump rope and bag work later.

Right when I made that post. I had to starting working at a different job. Albeit I hit the gym for weights and some cardio every night. It's not like I want it to be.

Neither currently.
I will say this. I've been doing workouts with weights a lot.
And swimming and jogging once in awhile. I don't have a lot of time to do cardio and lift in the same day.

Started running earlier this week. I made a promise to myself to do this right again and not stop.
Just did some P90X cardio and ran a little before that.

Quite exhausted today. And it's raining. Not sure what I am going to do. Maybe shadowbox with weights or something. I would just hit the heavybag but thats located completely in the back of my weight room and has boxes surrounding it.
Was busy 18th 19th, will do some running and P90X cardio as well.
Instead of cardio, I just lifted, chest, tri, bi, shoulders.
Moms babysitting nephew, dads recovering from chemo.
Been raining the past few days straight anyway. And I hate running outside as it is, I wont do it in mud.
Anyone got any good recommendations for a sub 500 treadmill?
I would hit the punching bag right now but it's packed behind everything in the weight room (a room behind the garage that was add on before we moved here and we use it for storage and my weights but the punching bag is stuck in the corner.)

Left on the 30th, for partying. Getting back to it now, sister gave my mom her treadmill. Going for a run now.
Just ran 2.5 miles for 33 minutes.
It said I burned 420 calories. which I am doubtful of, but still nonetheless. That was probably the first time I have ran for over 30 minutes straight possibly ever, and the first time I ran over 2 miles straight without stopping since probably high school.
Shocked myself today.
Ran for an hour, (never done that in my life) 4.6 miles, 815 Calories

Just before X-Mas I was 197ish.
I'm now around 187.
I still have no idea how I went from struggling with 2.5 miles to 5 miles with ease.
I've never ran more more than maybe 30 minutes straight when I was 18.
For these hour runs. I start out at 4 speed, switch to 4.5 at 2/3 minutes in and run on that until 20-25 minutes.
Then switch to 5 speed for 15 minutes. Then I run on 5.5 until I hit 5 miles.
Possibly thanks to p90x?
I was doing the cardio for a few weeks before the treadmill.
Anyway, in a bit, will hit the weights.
Just did a good push up/ dips work out.
Didn't feel like going out in the cold to my bench.
Will try to do the p90x cardio tonight.

I am disappointed. Im stuck at 181 despite sticking to my diet this whole time (even with the one cheat meal I should still of gone down. I've been more calories everyday than I intaked. A LOT more.
My BMR is around 1900, I'm fairly active, probably 2400 I would normally burn then add 500+ for running. That's like 1000 calories, 3500 per lb of fat to burn.

I did 3 sets of pull ups. Palms facing away.
3x10 Pulls up - Bodyweight
3x10 Bent Over Rows - 70lbs
3x10 T Bar Rows - 80lbs+ part of bar
3x10 Dumbbell Rows - 45lbs (Actually use the 45lb weight no dumbbells here)
2x7x3 21's w/ Olympic Bar + 10lbs - 55lbs
3x15x3 10lb Dumbbell Workout - Consist of Alternating Curls, Sync Curls and Alternating Hammer Curls - Done at a fast pace.
3x10 65lbs Upright Row
30x60 Barbell Shrugs with 5 second holds every 20 reps.
On top of that Johnstown. I am running at elevation of 4000 feet. Less air, harder, specially when I was out of shape. I am in okay shape right now.
63 Minutes - 6 Miles - 1050 Calories
45 Minutes - 4.75 Miles - 825 Calories
Will be doing Squats, Leg Curls and Extensions later with P90X Abs.

Calorie estimations on treadmills are usually bullshit. I would just estimate around 100 calories per mile. And if you just want to lose weight and be skinny, sign up for a marathon. How does your diet look? That's the most important factor here for losing weight.
And does your "2x75" mean 75 reps? How does that benefit you at all? That's not even a good rep range for muscular endurance or strength. Throw in some deadlifts or some real lifts to replace the million reps of shrugs. You'll get more growth in your traps from 3 sets of 8-10 for deadlifts.

Plus, for my weight, height and time running etc. Ive used many calorie calculators and most come in at about 750 + I run on an incline so thats also why the calorie count is so high. If I run for 6 miles, I've probably burned 900 or calories actually.

Yea so, I have bronchitis or something like that. Im taking steroids and antibiotics to treat it. So Im out for the next week but Im happy where I am at the moment. It's nice that the body burns lots more calories when sick to fight off the infection.
Back to working out tomorrow. Had some things come up.
Just got some bad news about my dad so I have no desire to work out. But Im sticking to my diet.
I've managed to keep my weight around 175 since I stopped running. Shits just tough right now. But I want to get back on this ASAP. Maybe tomorrow.

Ive been home for 3 weeks. Tomorrow, I start my diet again, no bullshit just doing it.
And I totally didn't do it, so much shit came up. And even more shit happening. I just have no desire to do anything where I live. Must leave!!!!
Started finally last week. Dropped a few lbs already.
Starting an EC stack tomorrow.
So far, no jitters, I feel a bit of energy but I feel the dose may be too low.

Finished a 20 minute run for 2 miles a little bit ago. Taking off to see a friend and do some work, might be able to log.
