Curious to learn more about him.

What made him great?

Was his power as legendary as some make it out to be?

Watch his fight against Mike Quarry. Far from Foster's greatest challenge, but a classic example of his brutal power.

All these young boxers to be need to watch him and understand that weights are not the Rosetta Stone for developing ko power. Leverage and technique are far more important than lifting strength.

It sounds like his career set is worth ordering. The Tiger and Quarry Knockouts. The 1971 fight of the year and his fight with Rondon

Foster had great power but people tend to forget he also possessed one of the best ever jabs.

That's why i mention the Rondon fight, that jab is whipping out there like a snake.

If I had to pick only one of Foster's fights to watch. It would be his fight against Andy Kendall who was a very tough customer. I recommend you watch this fight to really understand the extent of Foster's talent and heart. It is a total war and a hidden gem of a fight.
