Herol was Very Hard to Outbox at Lightmiddle, Very Hard Indeed, Herol would have found Cory's conventional Style more readable the Cory would Herol, and Cory does not have the big punch to "Do a Jacko !) Herol on Points with Cory joining the Queue of fellow Graham victims left scratching their heads on how to cope with him.

Herol Graham gave J.J alot of problems until he got careless and got KO'ed.
Graham's speed would give Spinks alot of problems and would win a comfortable 12 rounds UD over Spinks.

While i cannot tell you with any certainty who will win, i can tell you with absolute certainty who will lose.

The comments above were what was said prior to Kalambay and Nunn , cannonballs quote coming from Mickey Duff. You never know it might have been exciting .......... or maybe not. But graham wins easily and if Judah can stop Spinks, so could Graham

Judah and Graham have completely different styles.

Graham's style may have been unorthodox and certainly not to everyone's taste, but he was rarely ever a safety first fighter like Spinks is.
Most of his fights against opponents that weren't totally overmatched were entertaining, with him taking risks, mixing it up and throwing a lot of punches.

Problem with Graham was that most people capable of beating him weren't interested. The only ones that fought him were either in need of cash, hadn't done their research or were in a world title fight.
He would stand Spinks (and any other current LMW-SMW) on their head.

Herol Graham was somewhat avoided by many because of his style in the 80's even Marvin Hagler admitted he wanted nothing to do with Graham at middleweight, i have to say , Cory is a class lower than a prime Graham, he doesn't come close.. Herol wins by any means necessary.....

dont get me wrong, graham was one of the better fighters not to win a world title. perhaps i just recall too many of grahams fights when i was watching them as a kid on sportsnight and never appreciated his sublime defensive skills. was rooting for him in the brewer fight,he was desperately unlucky not to clinch the title in the twighlight of his career

His main problem was his ego.
Despite having excellent defence, on a par with Whitaker almost, he wasn't backed up by a particularly good chin.
The mainstream in Britain tend to look on those kind of fighters with disdain, therefore for this reason he felt he had to fight big bangers in an aggressive manner rather than his usual 'stand them on their head' style.
Chasing a needless KO against Jackson just summed that up. The fight would have been called off at the end of the 4th.

His defence wasn't as good but his reflexes were, perhaps even superior.
His chin wasn't up to much though..... even leaving aside the Jackson stoppage.

I think Graham's chin was only bad after he had been knocked out by Jackson, by which time he was an old fighter anyway. Before that it seemed solid enough.
Don't think you can compare him to a guy like Whitaker or any other traditional schooled defensive fighter really. He was a largely unschooled defensive fighter(other than his footwork)that relied on natural talent and reflexes.

Graham would have done better had he been with a major promoter.
By the time he fought Mike McCallum for the world title he was probably past his best.
