Boxing hour gets more and more bizarre but brilliant nevertheless.

Eubank is classic.

Great show again and good to hear from Eubank and The Duke.

The breadth of coverage and calibre people that you get on this show is testament not only to the good work done by the Setanta team but also to how much boxing was crying out for a chance to get fighters on tv.

Now that the show is established people must be queuing up to get on and by the number of people who are on it seems the show doesn't say no to anyone.

Keep up the good work.

Is George Groves related to Perry Groves? Looks pretty similar and from reading Perry's autobiography I remember he's originally from Hackney.

The only times i've seen Eubank's eldest son was the video of him beating that kid up in the car park and his blinged out Myspace page.

That was a strange show?

Bunce, Eubank and Adam Booth all discussing how to bring up a family. It was like an episode of Trisha!

Great show though, Eubank is still as mental as ever!

Best show on telly as always.
I know they can't say it when interviewing him but Morrison is a freakshow. What's the full story with his HIV status? Surely it can't have just been hepatitus?? And there is no way he was getting $40m from a three fight deal. I reckon $10m tops including the Tyson fight.

Nice story from Adam Booth re Eubank's son, Chris looked quite emotional. Got a bit Audley Harrison looking at the camera though.
Not sure what David Price made of Eubank's advice! Chris, just because you squandered all your cash and got divorced doesn't mean money and women will ruin big David!
Although Eubank is a legend I don't agree with Bunce that he was avoided by the top yanks. I think Chris was quite happy to defend his WBO strap against bums during his sky deal. It was only his mandatories (Rochigianni, Thornton) that were really tough.

Although Rhodri is very slick I still think the show needs the Kerrminator back.

I agree, for the most part, Eubank was quite happy ticking over with that WBO belt.

What a BIZARRE Buncey's Boxing Hour!!! Clearly a mistake inviting Eubank on. I sensed a feeling of regret as soon as Eubank started going of on some bizarre tangent after appearing to take ages giving due consideration on what odd things he was about to say!!! Whilst I've always been a big fan of Eubank, he is, after all, yesterdays man. I'd've prefered to hear far more from David Price(although maybe more time with Price was actually intended!!)

I know its going slightly off topic, but can anyone remember when Eubank appeared on 'they think its all over' Man, they were a bunch of right cunts to Eubank, Jonathan Ross & co slaughtered the poor guy mercilessly for the entire show.
I cant remember what programme it was, but it showed footage of Eubank after the show, & the poor bugger was holding back the tears cos they gave him such a hard time.

It was one of the saddest things I seen, & I cant believe Eubank still classes Ross as a friend...
aah just thinking out loud, sorry for going slightly off topic there.

The funniest bit was when Eubank called Jonah Lomu a puff....

I hate Ross - wish he would just commit suicide or something.

I must admit, I felt a wee bit sorry for Wayne when he was on the phone talking about how he might be fighting Dunne, & then Dunne comes on the phone & tells everyone hes already booked up for a world title fight!

Poor Wayne must have been a wee bit embarrased...

I think Eubank is an extra-ordinary character.

The way he spoke to Price was amazing, and how you could tell he was listening to what Chris was saying and taking it all in was refreshing. Quite often you see a young tyro taking all in their stride and ignoring advice etc..... was good.

It's a shame what happened to him - I suppose this tends to happen to boxers more often than other sportsmen/women, but still......

IMO there should be a benevolent fund as there is in Rugby League.

Just watched the show and seeing Eubank on was quite the surprise!

Has Andy Kerr been removed from the boxing hour? I don't know what his situation is, because I haven't seen him presenting on setanta sports news lately, yet he presented the mosley fight?

Bring back Kerr! (although the other guy is good, he seems to gel with Buncey's sense of humour more).

I appreciate Hayemaker is the coming thing here but I cannot watch Adam Booth for more than 2 seconds without being very irrated by how much he loves himself. All his pouting is a bit much for me. I think he's spent so much time around Haye that he thinks he's a brother or something.

Great to see Eubank (although that side camera angle did him no favours at all!) but I'd wish he'd chill out a bit in retirement!

Tommy Morrison sounded like he was either a) about to commit suicide; b) had tried to commit suicide last night or; c) was in the middle of having a complete emotional mental breakdown Oliver McCall styley.

Enjoyed it again though, this show is a TV highlight of the week.

Tommy Morrison did not sound well at all.

Adam Booth aint THAT bad, seems like a decent person to me.

Would have been nice if Kell Brook was given more time on air, maybe next week!

Tommy Morrison is either punch drunk or HIV positive. Perhaps both.

It was a pretty dumb move IMO getting him on.

To be honest, I am surprised someone would be willing to fight him. If there was any doubt about an opponent being HIV+ I wouldn't let my fighter anywhere near them.

Hi Kell... How are you?

Yeh good. Looking forward to the fight.

Great, piece of advice, dont take your eye off the ball - make sure you win.

I thought it was funny when Rhodri had to explain himself to Eubank about getting happiness from his kids being happy. It was like listening to David Brent.

I thought the Morrison interview was good. That sort of random interview is what makes the show so great.

I love Chris but he's a man and he should (like the rest of us) know how to look after his money. Remember it was him calling boxing a mugs game, saying he was in it for the money. Personal responsibility. Don't cry for a man who buys mack trucks and eventually wonders why he doesn't have a pot to piss in.

It was a pretty odd show, but I really enjoyed it. One thing, Buncey: sort out the camerawork. It was dismal. We were either given huge panning shots of 7 people sitting round a table, ridiculously close close-ups of the side of Eubank's head, or shots of people who weren't actually talking.
Other than that, good job.

Weird show. Still class like.

Eubank's as a mad as a hatter, but if anything looks harder than he did back in the day, Neck like a fucking bulldog!!

That Rhodri feller's good, sparks off the Bunce pretty well, chuckled when he said to CE "So if your kids are happy you're happy" "Well no" replies CE and launches into another soliloquy with Rodders trying to back track, anything to stop the show over running by 3 hours!

Good stuff about Reg Gutteridge too.

But......GET RID OF THAT FUCKING BELL!!!!

That footage was on Louis Theroux.
They were absolute arseholes to him, Ross and co, unfortunately for Chris the way he presents himself makes it easy to make him look like a pratt. It was great seeing him on Bunce's show because they afforded him full respect and you got to see that he's a good man with the balls to say what he thinks and one who thinks about what he says.
Anyone who hasn't read his autobiography simply must, it's brilliant and you get a real insight into the guy. An eccentric definately and strangely a guy who made himself the pantomime villain while at the same time desperately craving acceptance and simply to be liked.

Guy

Chris created the Monster i.e jodhpurs, a monocle, and riding about town in a Big fuck off Monster Truck, add to that the fabulously eccentric musings of a madman acting like he was a member of the gentry.Which all in all made it easy to take the piss out of him
Oh and lets not forget the absoloutely ridiculous posturing within the ring which at the time made me hate him and I barely followed boxing.(I stiil knew he was as hard as nails though)
Only later did I appreciate his eccentricity and contribution to the sport but for non boxing fans.....
