If JCJR's handlers are dumb enough to put him in so big so early . . . they should be banned from boxing.

de la hoya can do everything better than chavez jr, box, bang, better footwork, chavez has no advantages except age which wouldnt be enough. dlh early knockout, i mean EARLY

I like Chavez, but he is really really slow. He is going to have problems against the upper echelon fighters.

Even if Oscar was 50yrs old he could still take chavez within 5. the kid is way too inexperienced and lacks the speed and power to put dlh away. he would get knocked out no doubt.

Chavez Jr. would be another Vargas if they decide to put him there with an experience fighter to soon.

Fuck! I overlooked "jr" the first time around - you shouldn´t be supriced about anything these days though.

BTW ODLH KO "junior" inside five rounds.

DLH, by whatever method/round he wants. He'll probably feel bad about what he did to senior, so he'll either put the kid to sleep early, or toy with him gently on his way to the biggest shutout ever seen.

not even close. De La Hoya destroys him easy, this year or five years from now. easy work, too. Chavez Jr has an impressive record on paper, carefully constructed mostly by fighting ex-lightweights in knee braces who have two weeks notice and havent fought in a few years.

De La Hoya would probably beat Malignaggi pretty badly, but if Chavez gets past Paulie he will at least belong in the ring with champion level fighters.
