Oh shit. I hate shit like this. Can Team GSP really be that dumb to not know this was illegal? Or that dumb to do it and take the risk of tarnishing GSP's reputation? Or that dumb to not be confident in beating BJ, without it?

I dont think this would have change the outcome. GSP would have won by decision no matter. But one thing is odd when I saw the fight, BJ cannot high guard GSP, this happened for about half of the second round, he tried again and again.

Im not even talking about the rubber guard, GSPs too strong for that, its the fuckin high guard and the passing BJ couldnt execute and hes great at JJ enough to high guard someone

I agree that it wouldn't change the outcome but it still doesn't look good. One of BJ strengths is his guard and they deliberately tried to cancel that out with vasoline. Dirty in my eyes but still wouldn't change outcome
