It's too bad he rarely fight these days, and when he does, it's against sub-standard opposition.

He looks quite lean in the face and this migt mean he is in shape. A David Tua that has a high work rate could be a very tough problem for his upcoming opponent

He needs to go back to that old look...like the one he had when he was loing guys like Maskaev, Rahman, Ruiz, and throwing punches like they were going out of style in the Ibeabuchi fight!

Yea I noticed that too. I'm anxious to see what he weighs in at.

Tua over 235 is worthless. He needs to get in top shape and fight in the 220's. Then he can be a serious threat.

He sure does look like hes in shape or maybe hes just been eating a whole hell of alot of salads. Hold the dressing please.

Words on the street: Tua just had a facelift. He's still a fatass.

to be honest with you, none. I dont think they've been televised, but from every report I recall reading it stated he looked terrible. I'll go with the fight reports. I dont remember anyone saying he looked good.

is this fight televised or are you going to see it live? if you're going let me know how he looks, I'm curious myself. I'd like him to do well as I've always liked him but he just doesnt have the desire or dedication to his training it seems.

BTW, it seems Tua has a low body fat percentage because his face looks verry lean compared to some other fights of his.

tua will need better opponents than saul montana to climb the ladder. montana started at 168 and ate himself up to 242. if tua knocks him out it will only be a small step, i hope beat beats him impressively at least.

No he won't. He's taking the Hasim Rahman and Shannon Briggs route. He's already ranked by the WBC. I GUARANTEE 2 more fights and he'll be in the top 5 and he'll get that title shot, and we just might see Tua-Klitschko.

Tua is now what, 35? I think he wated a lot of his good years in inactivity.

it's on generic PPV. i got nothing better to do, the missus is off at ladies' night. don't mind dropping thirty bucks to see vulgar displays of power from tua and greenberg.

He's still got plenty of time by heavyweight standards, both chronologically and in ring years. Other than Ike and Lennox, who's really dealt him that much punishment?

Tua has a chance now if he is focussed , he may be able to propel himself into the top four in the division, he weighed in cut to the bone for Montana..
New blood is what the heavyweights need.. very rare chance for David, i hope he takes his chances..

A good knockout is the order of the day, not a point wins, and then another fight asap.
No more waiting around, it's now or never for Tua.

well, weighin in at 237lbs makes it his lightest weight since he fought Chris Byrd in 2001! At his age and with his inactivity, thats a good weight for him. It shows that he's been in the gym and he's kept in shape. That offers some encouragement at least.
