and the UFC acts as if he beat someone. It's funny that Danna says he dosn't give fighters easy fight, but they have gave this guy cup cakes the last few fights...

They are bringing him along slowly I guess his next fight should be against a top 10 guy.

Why would they sign such a shitty ass fighter like Stojnic.

Just looked this guy up, hadn't even heard of him.
You're surprised that an unknown 3-0 fighter is being broken in gently?
I'm curious what calibre of fighter did you think he'd be fighting at this point?

Its not the caliber its how they are hyping him up already. With that said I do like Cain and do think he will do good just not sure yet.

Oh and your HW Champ Lesnar was 2-1 when he got a title shot and is now just 3-1 so record doesn't mean as much as it does in boxing. MMA guys usually don't get the "feed him abunch of cans" treatment to build a nice record.

If you thought this guy was out of shape you should have seen the guy Carwin fought in his last fight. I think a good next fight for Cain would be against the winner of Junior dos Santos vs. Stefan Struve.

It's hard to evaluate that fight because I've never seen Stojnic before. If he's a real kickboxer then the fact that CV hardly got hit is a good sign, but if he's a can then it mean that CV's power is lacking.

On the other hand, he won every second of that fight now doubt, and it's not his fault about all the hype. If he was an unknown then we'd all be going on about how he pitched a total shutout.

I don't hate the guy at all. The fact is they are building him up like a world beater. Hell when Brock came to fight in UFC and didn't have any MMA fights ((I didn't count the first one, that was a total joke)) they put him in with a lagit fighter. If Cain is as good as they claim in the UFC, then up the fighters he fights. Hell, that guy he fought was to be a black belt, but his punches where sloppy at best. So lets see if the hype is real and put him in with a Lagit UFC HW.

Difference is Lesnar could sell seats from the off based on his name. This Cain guy is a nobody and needs public recognition before he headlines anything significant.

This topic is beyond discussion, that Stoljic guy is a joke, an audience member made to dress up a few hours to fight for 5k. Yes he was probaby wearing a belt thats black in color.

Another insult to MMA fans..Get ready to see Cain Velasquez against a dangerous kickboxer! lol. Even Rogan had a hard time selling that fight.

This stoljic guy can take a punch! Hes good!

Cain looks talented but needs a tougher fight next. Carwin was in a simliar position (obviously he is older and has had a few more fights) but his matchup with Gonzaga should give us a better indication of where he is at.

He does look impressive...

His wrestling background..
+impressive striking.. especially those leg kicks..
+apparently taking to jujitsu very quickly
+time is on his side. Very young.
