Guys... just a snippet from the 'Herald/Sun' Victorian News Paper....
"Darchinyan will now pursue the biggest payday of his career, a multi-million dollar fight with boxings pound for pound champion Manny Pacquiao who last year knocked out Oscar de la Hoya."
Go figure... could only happen in a Hollywood movie. IMO.

Why would Vic think about commiting suicide after a good win?

Realistically who would you's like to see Vic in with next ?
I'd like to see him fight Fernando Montiel.
Pac wld rape Vic.
But i guess that's boxing, who knows, most thought Oscar wld do the same to Pac. Although in all honesty he was shot and probably wld have raped Pac at his best.

Vic needs to rematch Donaire. Everyone knows that except Vic and Gary Shaw. Vics calling out Pacman etc etc who would brutally knock him the f#ck out within the 1st rd. Funny how we don't hear Vic calling out Donaire. That tells me Vic isn't so confident that he could beat Donaire in a rematch. Gary Shaw even made the laughable suggestion that they might line up Vasquez in the future for Vic. Who the hell are they kidding.

Have to get some publicity while your red hot, that's all this is.
I think he beats Donaire in a rematch, would like to see him in with Izzy.

.. just have to clarify something.... this is, as quoted, a newspaper report... not a qoute from team Vic.... therefore, unsubstanciated..typical press.

I would presume it's at Bantamweight for his title.

Do you honestly think Vic can compete with Israel Vasquez. He is 2 weight divisions above Vic and he is a sensational fighter. I see nothing but a brutal loss to Vic in that matchup.

Without a doubt I think he can, Mijares was an exceptional boxer and Vic outboxed him and knocked him out.
Vic is a monster I think his strength will match Izzy and I believe Izzy is ripe for the picking, you can't be in the wars he has and it not effect you add to that his inactivity and I see it as a career defining fight for Vic:good

... Vic does have a frame and height to enable a couple more div. changes... Featherweight couldnt be out of the realms... just a matter of time before we see.

Vic should fight montiel next & become the unified 115 champion of 4 belts. Pac, Iss & marquez will all KO him. I'm a fan of Vic's but he does give me the impression that if someone hits him flush he'l go to sleep again, like donaire done.

:good Another good post. Vic defence and chin would make it extremely tough against Vasquez and Marquez. Pac i'm not even going to consider.
Montiel would be a very hard, dangerous fight, that as well as the Donaire rematch is what he should be focusing on.

It just makes more sense Jambo to go after montiel or donaire for that matter. I've seen in a lot of vic's fights, when he gets caught up in some wild exchanges he's very open to flush shots on the chin. I think if he steps up & fights the likes of iss & marquez they will exploit this & KO him. I'm not dissing on Vic, just think he's getting ahead of himself fighting the likes of the above mentioned.

I think Montiel has left the building so to speak when it comes to 115.
Last I heard he was vacating his title and moving to bantam because of weight troubles.

I think a interesting Vic fight would be against Hasagawa.
He has little power & i can see Vic smashing him to be honest.
Agbeko likes to trade..would be a real war of attrition.
