Not the easiest fight for Mitchell after being out so long. He's great entertainment and I'd love to see him go far, hopefully he's made big improvements in his defence in his time off because he's a decent fighter but he won't have a long career if he's turning every fight into a war.

agree, it will be tough for him, but I expect him to win and then move on to bigger things. his defence when he wants it to be is good, for the first 3 rounds against johanneson I thought he looked world class, then they both went to war lol.

Mitchell has a lot of talent. Khan, mitchell and the world champs gold medallist (whose name I've forgotten, but I'm convinced he's thereal talent out of that Olympic squad) are the three who will takeover from the Hattons, Frochs and Hayes i reckon.

Mitchell imo stops foster, he would of learned alot from the johanneson fight so I expect him to use his head and box, causing a stoppage in around 8 rounds

There's never been a better time for Mitchell to try and grab a title at SFW. Can;t fight Cook as they are stabelmates, but seriously, he and Soto would be a real war! With a bit more defence you'd give Mitchell a chance, but I fear Soto will break him down to late stoppage.

Linares is winnable for Mitchell. He can box really well but Mitchell has a great chin and power. On neutral ground this is a fair fight, I think Linares is pretty overrated. In Japan however, Mitchell gets robbed.

Mitchell went life and death with Carl Johanneson - was probably one punch away from being stopped on a couple of occasions.

Johanneson has twice been found out badly at Euro level. Mitch would be the same.

I don't rate Linares highly, he is not even close to the prospect Gamboa is.

Nevertheless he would destroy Mitchell, in all seriousness.

We go on about khan , but surely mitchell has shown grit and determination. He bangs has a chin and has fast hands oh and never been on the deck. also he is only 24. It annoys me a little when khan gets knocked out, has a comeback fight and is now a born again future champion. Mitchell imo will go on and be a champion, he will show his class and by the end of the year.
