watched the big mans show today, & he tells us that Frank Maloney has rejoined the battle to get Scotty Harrison his license back!

Now as Scottys biggest ever fan on here, this is massive news! However, Im also confused...
last I heard, Scotty was so angry with wee Frank he was going to strangle him after Maloney 'grassed' scotty up in the press up here about his booxe fuelled antics & then some!!!

Now big Steve leaves a Harrison nuthugger like me hanging with a quick mention on his show that Frank Maloney is putting a good word for Scotty into the young guns of the BBBC???

Its mental torture!!! Now we got some folks in here like big Buncey himself, Scottys pal & cornerman Billy Nelson, & a certain Willie Limond who has been sparring with Scotty recently, can any of themk, or anyone else in the know here please tell me if Scotty has a chance of getting his license & career back on track?

I need to know, simply because hes my all time favourite fighter. So if anyone knows ANYTHING, please say.

Yours faithfully, Scottys ESB no1 fan.

BBBC might just throw the case out, they have that right.

FM wrote to the Board. The Board wrote to FM asking for details of SH's legal cases. When they get the info they will decide whether to let SH appear in front of them.
Simple.

Adios.

If you dont mind im going to have pass comment on this ESB as there was acouple of things that dont match up .

first thing i dont know if Maloney representes/manges Scott anymore. His management and media are being handeld by Bravehert (barry highes firm) and they reperesneted him at a meetingof the BBBoC hearing last year .

im not doubting waht buncey said but i know this for a fact .

Now there is an outstanding court case in spain thatr was delayed about 18 months-2 years ago ,because the judge was ill .this is an assult case on a policeman and it was allegdly scott and his late uncle .

Last year (if i remeber rightly) the BBBoC said they wouldent even give him a look in until the outstanding cases were done.

that is my case

#6. Correct. SH is better off in the gym and ring. The alternative is not so good.
Let's hope he stays clean, stays out of prison, stays in the gym and gets the nod from the Board.

Adios.

I really hope that Harrison gets his licence back...he is a cunt to himself and probably others around him but that is no reason to withold his ability to earn a living and give us top class entertainment. Someone just needs to be strong and take the bloke by the fucking throat and tell him how it is (i'm not offering BTW). If he isn't careful his life will be like an uncanny re-writing of the Benny Lynch story.

Also a tragic coincidence that Harrison was stopped for drink driving in the same area Lynch grew up :?

Scott Harrison is your favourite fighter of all time ?? Why am i not surprised ??
Dunky once you say something like that, your opinions really mean nothing to boxing fans .. I suspect Scott isnt even his dad's favourite fighter .. Scott Harrison is fortunate that Clinton Woods is even more average than him, otherwise Harrison would be spoken of more regular and not in good terms ..

Just dont put it on TV, ive sat through enough of Scott Harrison fights to know he's an average fighter. I'd rather watch Alex Arthur and thats saying something !!

What is Harrision going to do after boxing? Even if he gets his license back its only a temporary fix for a couple of years at most.

He's going to be a guy in a bar who endlessly bores people with stories of when he was a boxer ..

Or he could fall back on his trade that he learned as a young man, or he could sell paintings as hes a skilled artist.

But hey thats right, I know nothing about nothing according to you, dont I?;)

Seriously, some of the stiffs I have had to give my precious time to in here over the years... Thank goodness Im a laid back mild mannered guy, or even my patience could have cracked with some of the utter inanery thrown at my good self through the years here!

Now lets turn that wee statement of yours into erm lets say...

A football context!

Its like telling a man because he supports Plymouth Argyle, his opinions on all things football are null & void cos he doesnt support a 'big team'.

Do you see what Im getting at here Axl?;)

& it was a case well put, fine sir!

man, I know that if & when Scotty comes back, he probably wont do too well. Boxing history tells us that fighters who are out for years due to whatever reasons are always a shadow of their former selves. However, I miss Scotty too much, a bit of me died as a boxing fan as I have said many times when he went off the rails.
It would just be such a buzz to see Scotty back in the ring though that Im not talking as a sensible fan, but a Scotty nuthugger like I always was.

Arthurs french kissing antics with Nicky Cook chilled my blood so much that I want to see the tartan terror back in the ring, I miss his no-nonsense approach too much.

Sad, but true.

He wants to come back as a LW I think, and I for one would love to see Harrison vs. Thaxton/Murray for starters.

Even now Scott would smash Khan to pieces! Let's hope his body is still fresh even after all the abuse, he was a super-strong FW in his prime and relentless.

If Harrison comes back, which he won't, hes going to get KTFO by the first decent fighter he comes across. Out the ring for years, alcohol abuse, all his natural stamina will be gone, he'll have to fight men his own size at LW, and I doubt he'll have as much drive to get in shape.

I'm fairly certain he has kept himself away with all his drunken antics. I would like to see Scott given a chance to, at least, appear in front of the board so he has the opportunity to convince them he has turned his life around.
