Firstly, this has to be a first........a former Light-Heavyweight has weighed in more than natural Heavyweight Tua!
Pleasing still however is that Tua is weighing under 240lbs at 237lbs. Hopefully he blows Montana out then looks to get in the ring again ASAP a little more training and I'd be happy with his comming in at 233-235lbs hopefully on a regular basis i think at Tuas age asking him to make it into the 220's is to hard on his body.

Well, he's still too heavy, but this is a step in the right direction. Now if he would fight more than once every six months and/or face someone in the top 50, he could get people to take him seriously as a world-class threat again.

Tua doesnt want ranked for a title shot, he wants to mlk it for a couple of years until he is ready to retire and then take a risk against a champ but clearly he has no confidence that he could beat a klitschko.

Nuthugger? Mate excuse me for being a boxing fan and a Tua fan, perhaps I'll post in a gardening forum then if you prefer?
Fact is Tua's making a comeback doing it his way so good on him, I'll always be a Tua fan but im not blind like some others i know he has a tough road ahead, but you cannot count out a hitter like Tua with his chin against anyone! you'd be foolish if you did! Put Tua in with Klitschko tomorrow and i bet klitschko shits himself more than he does against the Austins and Brocks of this world! not saying Tua would win but Klit would run like a bitch like everyone bar Ibeabuchi has before him simple facts mate.
Tua KO4 Montana

Tua will win by knockout
Great to see him under 240. I would like to see him at 230 or in the high 220s

That's the lighest weight for Tua since he clocked in at 233 for the Byrd fight in 2002.
So credit is deserved for getting his weight down. He needs a much better performance than this last one, and Montana should be considered someone he can look good against.
Good feeling about this one for Tua.

Not that being lighter is the be-all-and-end-all to Tua's problems...he was fully capable of getting outboxed for long periods of time in the 230s and 220s as well. There are aspects of his game lacking that have always held him back from becoming a champion
But still, it is moving in the right direction.

His biggest problem is that hes a verry short fighter and he has not the skill or speed to overcome this disadvantage. Someone like Lewis would always beat him.
