Is it just me or is the idea of P4P pointless. There is so much subjectivity when rating fighters that there can be no right or wrong answer.
This is especially true when comparing boxers from different eras. There are countless factors that are impossible to sumarise and debates can never conclude. Performance, exciting?, focus, record, opponents, weight division, nationality, experience, POPULARITY, marketability etc are all factors that influence peoples rankings.
Some debates are fine but it seems to me that it ends up being about diminishing each boxers achievements in order to find an answer. Then you get ignorant people reading through these posts and locking into thier memory all the negative things about great boxers.
