Who wins? I was too young to remember these two at this weight.

Mosley's habit of trading and his lack of defence costs him in this fight. Mosley has a nasty habit of pulling straight back from a punch or planting his back foot and bombing over the top, I don't think this would work against Chavez.

Chavez late stoppage or decision probably decision he was amazing at 135 Mosely was very good to but he has a habit of fighting when boxing would be most useful. Look at his first with Vargas that was close if he’d simply used his speed and moved it would have been easier.

like pat lowe said that mosely has a habit of trading punches and when he is in the pocket and his defense is not as good when in that pocket thats why cotto will either stop him late or beat him by ud

Do you think Cotto stops him? I think Mosley is going to win that, Cotto just doesn't have a good enough chin. Mosley isn't a huge hitter but I think he will do what Judah couldn't and finish Cotto early.

Mosley is there to be hit, he'd be more than willing to trade punches and that's the problem. Chavez has the chin to take his punch and his pressure, stamina, bodypunching and toughness will win him a ud.

If Mosley couldn't deal with Forrest's pressure. Chavez would be unmerciful in dealing out punishment. Mosley's great boxing ability would enable him to go the disatance. Chavez UD 12 or 15.
Mosley tended to pose and admire his work, always a bad habit. And, like Roy Jones, he tended to be fairly stationary, daring opponents to make a move while looking for opportunities to lash out. But Shane didn't quite have Roy's reflexes.
OTOH, Shane takes a better punch (for a given weight class) than RJ. Give him credit - he did recover well enough against Forrest to at least finish on his feet. And while Forrest clobbered him pretty good during the rematch, the effect was far less dramatic.
Shane adapts very well too, as he proved against Forrest (not too successfully, of course) and against Oscar DLH. The exception was Winky Wright, but Winky makes everybody look bad.
If Mosley doesn't pose, keeps his right hand up and adapts, he has a shot at decisioning Chavez. If Chavez hurts Mosley I'm not sure Shane would be able to get back into the game mentally well enough to pull it out.

Chavez, by UD. Mosley is good, but he'd have it all to do in this one.
