Will it be more of a surprise than the Ragamuffin man?

Yes but the honeymonster>>Jennings even going in to that.
In terms of surprise it would be same ballpark but in terms of achievement obv much less so.

biggest british win ever if jennings pulls it off.
bigger than honeyghan-curry.
least honeyghan was a british/comm/euro champ and undefeated.

Honeyghan was rated more highly i think than Jennings when he fought Curry, even though he aswell was challenging for the world title. If Jennings beat Cotto it will be as much as a surprise i think yes, even though Cotto lost his last fight.

Honeyghan was the genuine number one contender when he fought Curry and although he was expected to lose that was more to do with just how good Curry was. Jennings beating Cotto will be a bigger shock

Dude that is an awful avatar photo I hope you dont think you look good in it!
I wasn't around at the time...but from the outside looking in this would seem a bigger shock.
1. Honeyghan was undefeated and got his shot the proper traditional route
2. Honeyghan had a punchers record
3. Jennings has lost to Young Mutley, and quite frankly hasn't fought the best of Britain and Europe...its not a natural progression
4. He can not punch hard
But then again, Curry was considered better than Cotto. Who knows.

I remember watching the fight,i think it was on delayed veiwing and ive always kind of thought the same thing.Yes Curry was very good and had looked unstopable but Honeyghan had a good record.Regardless it was a great showing from him and Curry was never the same fighter.Jennings is in with a chance in this fight he has nothing to lose. The Mutley fight was very close and could have gone either way

Lets be honest, this has the potential to be a worse beatdown than Cotto's mauling of Alfonso Gomes; I just hope Jennings doesn't try to be as brave as Gomes.

Cotto is coming off of a serious beat down. Who knows if he is fully recovered.
