Mexican Julio Cesar Garcia taking on undefeated Troy Browning tonight on ESPN. This kid Garcia holds a record of 40-2. Already has more than 40 fights and is barely 20 years old.. And he is managed by the great Roberto Duran. This kid is the real deal folks. :deal

I've heard great things about this kid...never seen him in action, so I am interested to see how he performs, because it appears the guy who he is facing is a live body.

I have seen a couple of fights of him and he looks like the total package.
Cotto-Garcia will be a huge fight in a couple of years.

I didnt see this one coming at all. Ive seen Garcia fight before. He is quicker than what he showed tonight and doesnt let his opponent breath. Garcia tonight was posing and looking like a Mexican version of Andre Dirrell. Duran better get the kid in check. :think

Cotto-Garcia will be a huge fight in a couple of years.
No it won't.
Cotto will be at welter for awhile. In a couple of years he'll be at 154, tops. Garcia is a middleweight now, and will probably have ballooned to 175 by then.
Not to mention Cotto is world class and Garcia, until he erases the memory of this performance, officially sucks. :good

At 20 years of age, kid has time to grow at least. Something was definately wrong with him tonight.

He looked awfull tonight. Extremely slow with poor defense. Had Browning had some pop in his fists, Garcia would have been KO'd.

He looked like he could care less if there was a fight going on or not.? Lucky for him the other guy couldn't crack an egg.

Garcia=Most disappointing prospect in boxing
The only word I can think of is indifferent. He seemed to care less if he won or lost tonight.

this is what happens when you through 40 fights against no hopers. suddenly someone fights back a little and the super prospect suddenly looks like a clubfighter.

What happened Freddie? ;-)
What happened was he got his ass kicked and his chief concern was making sure his shorts were exactly waist high.

BERTO IS THE BEST PROSPECT.
GARCIA is MUNDANE. BERTO HAS ULTRA FAST HANDS, KO POWER IN BOTH HANDS, A FULL ARSENAL, AND ROY JONES LIKE RELFLEXES.
Garcia is just alright.

He probably just had an off night, that's what I'm inclined to think, or he's another Bojado.
