Did the ref cost Rob Reid against Calzaghe

I know it was years ago but i remember thinking that the ref seemed to punish Reid for everthing,while Joe never seemed to get told off once.I honestly thought at the time that Reid should have got the desicion in that fight or at the very least a rematch straight away.Just wondered what other people thought of it.

The Reid Ottke match was an utter disgrace of officiating. Mind you it wasn't the only one of them old sven was involved in. Bloody corrupt stuff.

I had Calzaghe vs Reid 6 rounds each but with Reid deserving his point deduction - he was being a dirty bugger that night. Remember him smacking Calzaghe as the Ref was pulling them apart, just after he'd got some sort of signal from his corner.
