Fight for them yes - win them - don't think so. Larsen's problem will be that either Kessler or Calzaghe will hold the titles - he can't beat either.
Bute will proberbly soon hold the IBF-title - Larsen-Bute ... hard to call, but I think Larsen will have a fair chance although I'd hold Bute as a slight favourite.
Next for Larsen seems to be his old EBU-belt - that should be relatively easy for him to take.

i think you´re right faetter_br,kessler i too mutch for mads larsen, and calzaghe is to.
But i think,he would have a good chance at lucien bute!!
BUT he have only fought 2 fights, let´s see him take the EBU-belt...then he will be back in buisness...
I hope he will,he´s e good fighter.IMO

I hope that Berrio will beat Bute, or else it will be a lot more difficult for him to get a chance to fight for a world title... Berrio, who also is at Sauerland, could make a voluntary defense of the title after his hopefully victory against Bute...
By the way, I stil think it very hard to estimate Larsen's current ablities, but at least I think he will blast out Sanavia, as for now he is top 10-5 material (only my opion, based on his fights the earlier years), but maybe he will prove me wrong - I sure hope so!!!
Havent seen him after his comeback, but if he is'nt to rusty, he belongs in the top 10 imo.

u meen 3 fights since his comback-Vasily Andriyanov ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) , Hector Javier Velazco ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) and Nader Hamdan ([Only registered and activated users can see links]):good
With a record being boosted like Valuev´s, I can see him going anywhere. That´s how boxing is nowadays.

Not very far. The front runners are a bit ahead of him in their careers, and in talent. I think Bute would take out Larsen quite comfortably.
I guess he's already done whatever he will ever do in boxing. I don't really see things getting any better for him from now onwards, and certainly not at 168.

I think he will break mentally before he gets anywhere interesting. He is too soft and emotional too perform when really needed. Pitty, I really liked him when he was younger. Still do, but I think he is living in a dreamworld of yeasteryear. I would give Larsen 0% against Kessler today.
Larsen dominated every round of his encounter with Australian based Arab Hamdan who entered the ring with a very lively arab pop song.
The Dane even scored a flash knockdown against his outclassed Arab opponent who didnt try to turn the tables anymore after that aforementioned meeting with the ring dust.
The Dane showed a very decent performance, but I for my part would like to watch him fight a stiffer test before he takes on the top guns of his weight division.
By the way I was quite surprised how popular the Dane seemed to be among the German crowrd!
I didnt know that Danish fighters are that popular among Germans!

you sure the boxing crowd noticed???
after all, they are so used to being fed foreign fighters passed off as germans, they probably think he was german too.

MCsomenumbers, what makes you think Larsen will blast out Sanavia, when he can't get rid of three half decent journeymen not fancying their chances going in? Ah, counterpunching, forget it. He'll win a close boring decision.
He won't stand a chance against Bute.

No, it hails back from the Ottke fight and even more important, the fight vs. Häussler back in 2004 (last fight before the break). The crowd cheered him in the end as he lifted the EBU-belt from Häussler. They still know him and he really looked like his ol self vs. Hamdan, nearly scoring the KO in the last round.
I spoke to him on wednesday before the fight and must say that he is really humble and friendly, just a cool bloke...

Namdan was also dominated, outclassed and floored by an old and way past his prime Otis Grant.
People seem to forget that Larsen always was a counter boxer, and Hamdan not coming forward as expected made it borring. The Ottke fight where the most borring fight ever...Haussler comming forward=Exciting match! I still think he got it, a Lacy match could be interesting stylewise!

How about Larsen-Miranda?

I havent seen that fight,maxime!
As for Larsen he showed a fairly convincing performance against the Australian based Arab.To my great sorrow Hamdan didnt really try to turn the tables after he had been knocked down by the Dane.
To tell the truth Larsen has continously improved since he signed a contract with German promoter Sauerland.
German fight fans seem to really like him and enjoy watching him fight in a box ring. The German crowd entusiastically supported him in his encounter with Hamdam.

Yeah, they like the Maske and Beyer type of no action fighter. Let's hope - as Odo suggest - Larsen keeps fighting inside the ring. No time for trips to Angola this time around.

Thats rather cool :-)
