tall guy with short reach

is that the worse combination for boxing?
something like 6"4 and 74-75 reach.
i mean,you cant really jab,and you are too tall to fight like tyson or frazier...
was there any good boxer with proportions like this?

i dont know of any

but short arms are an advantage as your arms have less to travel and you will throw punches faster

as your tall smaller fighters find it hard to hit you in the head

dosent matter your physicallitys if you stick in and train you can be a good boxer

to be fair chuck wepner wasnt a world beater

ticar i cant think of a tall fighter with a short reach who was great but you just prove me wrong ticar and be the best

Not sure about his reach, but Diego Corrales never really used his despite his length and did rather well.

do what you do natural and listen to your trainer thats the best advise on defense i will give you as i havent seen you fight and see what your good at

but practise using your size on the inside and holding

and as RDJ says alot of tall fighters margarito, paul williams, corrales were tall and didnt use long reach so watch them

even hopkins to a certain extent as was tall but an expert up close
