Is it fair to make the comparison with Mitchell? Gamboa looks to have that amazing talent where as Mitchell simply doesnt. Is Mitchell another Arthur or Cook? That is a respectable level.

we will find out this year I suppose. mitchell I know had a bad hand that fight, hence when he stopped estrada it was with his right hand to the body explainning why he has been out for a year with the op. he also didnt know estrada was a southpaw until being in america, and had not sparred a southpaw for a few years. a combination of excuses I suppose, but didnt roman martinez go ten rounds with estrada? mitchell imo is the best young british fighter, and will go on to be a world champion, strong words I know, but this year we will see?

I agree I think Mitchell has talent and could go far. He still has time on his hands but he should start stepping up a bit now which I think he will.

Gamboa is a little power house. Just seen the Estrada KO. He put him down with a short but deadly right hand to the jaw. He seems a bit reckless though and a top level fighter could well exploit this. Needs work in my opinion.

Great shot. Estrada didn't even see it coming.

I'm also quite interested in Erislandy Lara. Early days yet but he's looking good.

On Mitchell, there's no doubt he has talent and I hope he goes far. Could definately see him grabbing a belt at some point.

Gamboa: quality KO.

Prescott: Damn! that bite looked nasty.

Lara: Gonna keep my eye on this guy; been hearing really good things about him already.

As you say, early days, but I'll be keeping an eye out for Lara. He looked very good last night.

Lara's more 'textbook' than Gamboa. Seen a few fights and the the guy is a good boxer. That finish last night was quality as well. Same with Gamboa's KO, great right hook.

He's a southpaw, its was a left uppercut IIRC (I'd been drinking though).

And there we go. That was my tip for "timgreen". Gamboa inside a round. He would have made a tidy profit if he had.

Gamboa is lightyears ahead of Mitchell. This was obvious beforehand and it certainly is now. Mitchell had a mini war with this guy.

Are we taking about Lara or Gamboa Ishy? Lara finished his man with a left uppercut.

It would be nice if the Cuban's McCrory has got are half as good as these.
