STFU Bill. You're a good poster but sometimes you post utter fucking biased shite.
No ones going to claim the man had a Marciano levle heart, but NO heart?
I reiterate, STFU.

watch the Golata fight to see if he has heart.
Or the Lewis fight, he sure as fuck wasn't picked up off the canvas by a magical force.
Bowe went through hell to get Golota to quit, and NO ONE will ever claim Bowe had no heart. On the contrary, a massive one.
And Grant doesn't have one going through the same shit with Golota?

grant did as well as he could with his talent, getting smashed by an atg heavyweight isn't something to be ashamed of.
this might have been an interesting fight.

I was impressed with Grants heart against Golota and thought he fought well, Golota was also 100% that night and Grant wanted it more. Best fight of Grants Career.
Thought he wasnt much of anything after that.
Berbick was actually a decent fighter in his prime. Id take Berbick here by ko.

I wonder if Lewis ruined Grant, that was a hell of a beating. The people saying he has no heart really have no idea, the way he kept getting up against Lewis showed a hell of a heart
With the matchup, Im really not sure to be honest, Berbick is the better schooled boxer and more proven I'd go with tentatively, Grant the man mountain with some pop who might overpower Treva.

I think Golota might of ruined him he took a lot of punishment in that fight before pulling it out. I even think Grant showed a pretty decent chin in that fight, His chin turned to China after that.

Michael Grant had his limitations, and defense was among one of the main things that needed repairing. For all of his short cummings however, he did have a lot of physical tools and at times showed quite a bit of heart. He did manage to throw together a string of some 30 wins before falling victim to a prime Lewis, and some of those victories weren't all against weak opponents either... If I were to pick who was the better fighter between Grant and Berbick, I would probably go with Trevor, as he did have better skills and more proven wins against a higher tier of fighters. It would not be a forgone conclusion that Berbick would always win head to head though. Grant was very large, powerful, and did not quit easily as seen against Golata and a few others. Berbick also had some off nights such as the ones against St Gordon, Renaldo Snipes, Bernardo Mercado and Leroy Caldwell. A guy like Grant could have potentially beaten Trevor on any one of these occasions..

:good Well summed up. Berbick blew hot and cold but I would still pick him by decision in an ugly fight.

It all depends on whether or not Berbick is crazy on the night of the fight.
If he's sane, Berbick by early KO.
If not, Grant has a chance for the upset.

Trevor was a guy that did better as the underdog & for some reason I didn't get, Grant had a loyal and faithful following. I sure don't think the Grant career does very well if he wore the Berbick shoes and was the Canadian road warrior. Plus, you'd have to subtract the HBO contract from him as well.
