Agree, but he needs a solid win before he can fight Abraham. AA managment said his going to be fighting in the U.S in his next fight. So will see. Hope theyll put him on HBO against a solid guy before making a unification fight with the winner of Taylor-Pavlik.

this probably gonna be made at SMW. miranda cant make 160 anymore, and will be moving up to 168. taylor after the pavlik fight will be moving to 168 win or lose. pavlik will be moving up as well in the near future i think as he's gotta be killing himself making 160. AA could probably unify 160 when all those guys move up. or he could chase them to 168 for the big money fights. damn 168 will be stacked and will be as interesting as 147. calzaghe, kessler, bute, mundine, andrade, lacy, froch, miranda, taylor, pavlik. all the money fights are there.

yap...But I dont think Abraham will move up to 168. His not a big middleweight to begin with, so its pointless. I think HBO will probably put Abraham against Corey Spinks since Spinks did so well against Taylor.

His next fight will be in Germany because HBO's budget is tapped. He is expected to fight in spring 2008 in the US.

Abraham:

"I will be Super Champion, I will fight against Taylor. Then I'll move up to 168." (Source: spiegel.de, sorry for the lousy translation).

Spinks would be a horrible matchup for Abraham.

With Abe's poor stamina and the resulting low workrate he needs a guy that will come at him with some reckless abandon so he can catch him with one of his flurries.

A slick mover with fast hands like Spinks would really make Abraham look bad.

Taylor ducking him

Abraham just fought another random.

FACT: Every fighter Taylor has fought in title fights have been champs at some point.

How can Taylor duck him? Today morning was the first time I heard AA calling out JT.

Though I see AA beating him - but first he has to be showcased on HBO or Showtime to raise he interest, so he has to fight in the US...

If Sergio Mora wins convincingly against Kassim Ouma then let him fight AA. This would be a big money fight in LA (one of the biggest Armenian communities).

taylor only fights people who are past it so aa is being avoided.

Miranda may be damaged goods at this point, a rematch with a healthy Abraham would most likely be a onesided beating, unless Miranda can break his jaw again (fat chance).

You're right, Winky, Bernard, Spinks, Ouma are all shot.

Bet they'd like to know that.

Damn! I would love to watch a rematch between Abraham and Miranda, and Abraham and Gevor.

Both fights were pure fun to watch.
A pity that I couldnt watch Miranda vs Abraham live, but I call myself lucky that I attented yesterday's fight show in Germany's capital Berlin.
What a frenetic crowd it was! I truly enjoyed yesterday's fight card in Germany's capital Berlin.
Abraham vs Gevor was a true war.Armenian warrior Gevor almost upset the apple car giving hell to Abraham in their encounter. Both fighters are a chip off the old same block.Props to both of them for such a great fight which was pure fun to watch. The crowd went emotionally beserk quite a few times during their extremely entertaining and exciting performance.
Gevor met his match in Abraham who put him out of action in round 11,but hell though Gevor got the short end of the stick he made the water dangerously hot for his compatriot putting all his eggs into one basket duking it out with Abraham. If Gevor had fought just a little bit more cautiously he might have been able to win a point decision against his great rival from their beloved country Armenia.
What a feast for the eyes this great battle was!One of the best middle weight fights I have seen within the last couple of years, and for sure one of the best fights I have seen this year so far.
Abraham took some good shots(Gevor even stunned him in round 7? if I remember correctly) but proved that he rules the roost.
Despite his ko loss Gevor for sure belongs among the top 10 of his weight division.

Great ko. No wonder taylor is ducking him.

man it's not 100% taylor's or taylor's management who are ''ducking'' him. These german promotors only put abraham with someone they feel he can beat for sure:patsch If they wanted their guy (abraham) to fight taylor/pavlik or whoever they could've also asked that right? Did they? no

Many many many many people on this board don't understand of how a match is put together... from the first contact 'till the contract is signed it's a whole proces. I also don't know everything but it's not that fighters that can say ''hey I want to fight him'' or ''no I don't want to fight him'' .

Boxers ducking other boxers exists but on the other hand don't exist. Why? because in the end the promotors want to make there big money, and if the only way Taylors promotor or manager makes a while lot of money is when he (taylor) fights abraham, then taylor has to or otherwise quit boxing because in boxing you can't be afraid of no one.

peace!
