So who is the new WBO champion going to fight?
Rematch with his stablemate Inkin?
Or are they going to find someone at the bottom of the rankings?

This will be a celebration fight, back in Hungary, so he'll fight someone no one's ever heard of, like:
13. Isaac Rodriguez - hope it's not this guy: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
14. Jorge Rodriguez Olivera ; [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Balzsay is good, but this fight will be about Balzsay and the title being the draw. So I doubt it'll be a good opponent.

The fight in April is in Germany.
You're talking about the fight in August.

Forgive me.
Both fights will be gimmes then.:D
They're holding on to Balzsay; they're not feeding him to anyone. This one'll make a good cashcow. He'll be the new Erdei.

This is a possibility but I hope Kohl will be less cautious with Balzsay. His style is much more exciting for casual fans than Erdei's so maybe he'll get the chance to fight better opposition. As for the next opponent it will most likely be a no-hoper.

I hope so too. We should know in the next 12-18 months. The 168 lbs division is on fire so if they won't throw him in at the deep end soon-ish, it's because they have decided to go the Erdei route. The fact that he's more exciting doesn't in itself mean they'll put him up against better opposition either; if anything it could mean the opposite...he'll look great blowing out Top 50 guys for a long time.

The problem is that normally, a promoter should think about how much money they're gonna do with their champion. Ok, they can start a long streak like the one Erdei has but in the long run, they're losing a lot of money if they don't put him with the best. Losing a belt if in return you gain exposure an a good reputation is nothing.
And what's the problem with the WBO puting boxers like no.13-14-15 who don't deserve to be ranked at all?....:think

Personally, I'd pick Balzsay over everyone except Kessler, Bute, Andrade and Taylor, and possibly Bika, right now. After 2 gimme fights, I'd put him up against someone in the Top 20, and then against someone in the Top 10. Then, I'd go for someone in the Top 20 again, and then go for someone in the Top 5. This is how I'd run Balzsay...

He has already beaten a true top fighter in a gruelling fight. No need to protect him from real life, decebal!
Whoever can beat Inkin will also be able to give hell to fighters like Bika,Bute,or Andrade.
Inkin, too, can hold his own against all aforementioned fighters.
Nah! Balszay is ready to take on the best opponents available out there.

What you say might be true, but it needs to be proved, Odo...Bute, Bika, Andrade...they've all proved themselves much more than either Inkin or Balzsay...I'll be happy to give Balzsay two gimmes, but after that, I want to see him prove that he's a worthy champ.:good

I very much doubt that Bika or Andrade have proved themselves more than Inkin.
Both Bika and Andrade lost their big fights. They are tough cookies, but they dont play in a different dimension.Inkin has beaten decent opposition, too.

Not sure Inkin's beaten better guys than Mack and Stieglitz, Odo...I really don't...as for Bika...yeah...I'm taking his mostly on the level of performance against some pretty good fighters - close fights against Calzaghe and Bute...a good couple of rounds against Beyer...
...I am not saying they're in a different league to Inkin...they're not...but it's not a give that Inkin would beat them by any means, you'll have to give me that!:good

They have minor/regional WBO belts that guarantee them a place in the top15. :deal
13 Isaac Rodrigues (WBO Latino)
14 Jorge Rodriguez Olivera (WBO Latino Int)
15 Masolino Masoe (WBO Asia-Pacific)

The question is...is Dirrell's promoter ready to put his hot prospect on a plane to Germany to get that title shot? I doubt it.

Yeah! You are certainly right in saying that a victory for In kin over either Bika or Bute would not be a sure bet.I give you that, decebal!:good
Nevertheless, you are on the wrong track to think that Bika or Bute should be favoured over someone like Inkin.
Countless posters praise Pavlik for his victory over Zuniga calling Zuniga a teak tough cookie who can give hell to anyone out there.Inkin, however, has not got that much praise for his victory over aforementioned Zuniga.
And by the way Inkin has fought some really good fighters, too.

Odo, Odo, Odo...:nono...looks to me like you are trying to sit on the fence whilst picking Tsypko to beat the favourite Andrade...:huh:yep

He's bad...but let's remember...who was Bute's first defence? How much better was Joppy than this guy? The first defence is always a gimme. It's a celebration. That's all.
I expected this. I'm not disappointed. I will only pass judgement on his opposition after these two gimme fights...:good
